Welcome, Welcome! YWS is great I know you'll enjoy it. I know this has been asked but what sort of stories/poems do you like to write? Have you written anything yet?
Feel free to ask me any questions I'd be happy to show you around

Why hello there Jovie and welcome to the site! It's nice to see another writer in their twenties on here, are you in university? Or college of course if you're american ^^ I study English with Creative Writing, though I tried my hand at Law first but it didn't work out so well.
I just thought I'd tell you a little about our buddy system. You can find more detailed information here, but basically it's where a new member is able to choose a mentor for themself and they can ask them any questions they may have about the site or how to find certain sections (as you're probably noticing, YWS is a big place!). The mentor would also review some of the work you post during your first month and it's just a really nice way to meet someone new and have a go to person if you're ever feeling lost or confused.
WWell I hope you like it here and feel free to send me a pm if you've got any questions or are looking for a review. See you around!
Aww, Jovie is such a lovely name! And it reminds me of Bon Jovi, which is always a terrific thing, I suppose
Haha, anyhoo, welcome to YWS! Here at YWS, the comments are helpful, the people are generally friendly, and eager to read new work. Don't feel shy about posting your work at all, and if you need someone to look at your work, I'd be glad to!
I'm Kinzee, it's nice to meet you. What kind of stories or poems do you write? I write more fiction novels than poems or short stories.
Anyways, I'm sure you'll love it here; I do. Everyone's really nice and helpful, and I'm sure you'll find posting your work can get you very helpful critique. It really helps a person improve there writing.
Welcome!
