Not much of a poetry writer but I have spurs of inspiration. I do it more for fun then anything else, so no need for harsh or structural critiques.

A true friend is one
who is there for you.
But doesn’t that mean,
that you are there, too?

With each friend I gain
I lose another
we are playing this game
to hurt each other.

All is fair in love and war
but none is fair
in the game of friends

With each friend I gain
I lose another
we are playing this game
to hurt each other.

My but that is a sad outlook on friendship. In any case it is interesting.

Keep writing,

Good job capturing the complete dark side of friendship. It's not just fine and dandy all the time, it hurts a lot too. But, we just push on with our lives no matter what. Although, there will be friends who leave us in the dust, there are those who will stick by us through everything. Now, I'll end with a quote by a song that I heard, forgot the title, but, I remember the quote!

--Love is always worth the risk. Although friendships can have a bad ending, everything in the middle (the journey) was love.

Keep on writing. I didn't do much grammar wise, because everything was pretty good, and also, you're doing this for fun, and probably don't care much about the grammar aspect!
Good job!!!
Don't walk in front of me: I may not follow
Don't walk behind me: I may not lead
Just walk beside me and hold my hand

-- aw, is this really supposed to be sad? Anyway, I like it because that's reality. I've got nothing else to say, ahm, sorry about that. :O
You'll know my story,
But you'll never know my name,
Neither the story of my life.. just yet.

I like this. I just noticed that the third stanza only had 3 lines versus 4, and that just seemed to stick out a lot to me. It didn't seem to hinder the flow a lot, but still.... This also seemed like it could be a bit longer, but you summed up the subject pretty well in here. Good job.
