Alright, so I'm getting pretty bored with the name of my heroine, Kyrie. I think the name is beautiful, yes, but I've been wanting to name her something different for a few days now. So I was wondering what people might think of these names, which I absolutely love for my character. Tell me what you think.

I boiled the names down:

1. Brooklynn

2. Bridget

3. Zelda

4. Amelia

5. Ophelia

6. Aurelia

7. Glacia

8. Lita

9. Kairi

10. Zoya

Her current name.

Seriously, characters get mad when you go to change their name. Unless they ask for a name change or they haven't really become themselves yet, it's really hard/impossible to change their names.

I tried once. Did not end well for the story. (Ended up stalling because the character stopped talking to me.)

Brooklynn: All I think is Brooklynn Rage
Bridget: Sounds plain/pop-culture reference to 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter
Amelia: Just don't like it/sounds plain
Zelda: Legend of Zelda
Ophelia: Hamlet
Aurelia: Sleeping Beauty allusion, as her name was "Aurora"
Lita Makes up part of Lolita, which is... not the nicest
Zoya: Names with a Z are usually trying too hard in my book

I get what your saying, but how about Katarzyna? I thin that name is absolutely beautiful. What do you think?

Now, it would depend on where your story was set and her ethnicity, but that name just looks strange. Too strange.

If you do use it, I suggest having a nickname.
Secretly a Kyllorac, sometimes a Murtle.
