Haha this looks great! I'm amazed that people can draw like this! xD Not that I'm much of an artist, but I liked how cartoony it looks. It has a playful feel to it, which is different from a lot of the artwork posted on here. Nice job though, this looks really good! :)

(A mediocre attempt at reviewing a drawing...)

I really like all the shading and stuff. I don't know about anyone else, but I don't really like the lettering on the front of the.... well I'm not entirely sure if that's part of the ship or something completely different. But I would like the lettering more if the Y had a longer line (like, the bottom half of the Y) and if the W was skinnier and pointier. The S was fine. But that's just me, and other than that I think this is really cute and kind of funny.

Wow, I feel like an idiot trying to describe letters.
We've stayed until the very end.

oh wow, Ranger Yurii! I didn't know you could draw! xD
It's actually really, really good. The shading is all correct and it's cleanly done too.
I love the YWS ribbon thing in the first. It makes it all look quite nice.

The only thing that confuses me is the little thing that the bottom. I don't know what it is. Is is part of the ribbon or is it something else? I first thought it was an anchor or something but that wasn't it. I don't think so anyway. lol

Oh well, it's still good! I like it! Good job!

This looks really good, it's so neat and you have great details. Nothing to critisize really, but I wanted to tell you that this picture inspired me to draw a group picture of YWS! topic80210.html if you want to check it out. Thank you for the inspiration!

This is really great! It looks very...peaceful. The shading is really really good and I love the YWS sign, font and everything. And I love that I can't really tell whether it's a water or air born ship.

Aww, this is lovely, Yuriiko!
Very majestic looking :D
Just a suggestion: You could change the harpoon (?) thingy at the front of the ship to a pen ;)

Excellent shading on the cloud edges, Yuri. What medium was this?

Thanks Jenthura! I just used an ordinary Stabilo (the brand's name) charcoal for the shading.

Hey Yuri!

Haha, this is pretty awesome. Though, I have to agree with Pink when it comes to the bottom part, it's a little bit weird. Otherwise, it's a pretty cute drawing. ^.^

Keep it up, I'd like to see more drawings like this in the future! There used to be a lot more YWS art like that on here, which was pretty fun. ^^

Hi!
Wow, this is really cute!
I am amazed with your creativity and ability to sketch so wonderfully. I really like the idea of a YWS boat.
This is so cool and I hope to see more artwork from you soon.

Yuriiko, dear! This is great! And I'm mad that you resized it. You should have posted another one in a spoiler, one that is the actual size. xD I have to admit, the photo take is bad, the lighting and all, but I could bear with that. Let us begin the review:

Shadings: Oh boy, charcoal is very neat medium. But it's very hard to handle also. First thing I noticed with the shadings is that I couldn't tell between the sky and the water. Let's pretend (or suppose) that this picture is in daylight. (Unless they're sailing off at night, or in a cave, well then that's weird for a YWS logo-like drawing, because making it dark would make it irrelevant. What? Did I make sense? I hope I did.) The sky, should be lighter than the seawater. So you shouldn't have added too much charcoal on the clouds.

Then we have the boat...

I can't distinguish now between the water and the boat itself. The boat, which is I will pretend (or suppose) is made of wood - mighty wood - which is dark. The poles, where the sails are (what do you call that?), are dark enough to be distinguished from the sky; but the body of the boat isn't. If you darken that, it would be easier for us to know.

You might be saying now, "But there're the lines!" But no, that's not enough, because you've used shadings at the first place.

Another thing I'd have to mention is I don't understand what the pole-like thing is on the left side of the page. Hmm... is the boat about to be anchored. And oh, I don't understand, too what the thing is on the left part of the anchor. Maybe that's because I don't know anything about boats. But yeah...

Overall I really did like it. I just had to point out those weak spots so you can improve. What I love about this is that it's in cartoon style. I love that it's easy to look at. I love the idea of a YWS ship! XD So keeeeep drawing! :D
