Tori draws?

So, I do actually like to draw in my free time. I'm not good; mind you. I just like it. Here's my most recent little sketch. She's actually a character from my story.

Oh, this is it in my photography studio that I shot it in. State of the art. (Yeah, it's a Disney princess folder propped on my laptop with the drawing on top of it. On my bed.)

I am thoroughly creepified.
It's definitely unique and altogether it looks great! Could give me nightmares though
I think the only thing I would think about working on is the proportions. The arms are a little too long (unless that was on purpose) and the way the arms come off from the shoulders seems jointless and stiff. The person is crooked and leans to one side, as well.
Other than those two/three things it looks very good and veeerrryyy creepy ;P

She's actually leaning forward and to the right slightly. And she's just sort of letting her arms go limp. Maybe I should have exaggerated that in her stomach and shoulders. But yeah, that's why the arms are a little long, and why her neck isn't really showy, and why she's crooked. Thanks a bunch!


SIDE NOTE: did this on the back of my maths homework.

Maths homework is very good for doodling on.

..............................what is she holding? Branches? Or shadows? O.o And why is she hunched over? Is she sad, or is she being creepy?

Shadows. And yup, being creepy XD

O.O Whoa, very...creepy. (That description suits it.) Otherwise, kudos for the unique style. It's interesting to look at and...I can't find anything to compare it to. Excellent.

For a critique: If she is leaning/hunched over, I suggest adding wrinkles to her shirt to suggest this. A few across her belly, perhaps, is all it would take. (And, yes, this is amusing. No one likes wrinkles in clothes...'cept artists.)

Anyway, good luck with future drawings (and note my sister has that same notebook, which I just felt like I should mention). Yes.

How on earth did you get all that black? Did you waste fifteen ballpoint pens? Or have you worn you darkest pencil to a stub?

Hahahah when I was scrolling down, I was freaking out because it looked like she was walking towards me, getting closer and closer and AAAH!!! But this is really cool! The coloring...or blackening, I guess...is really well done. I don't know how you did it, but it's cool, and I liked this. Keep up the great work!

Thank you! It's actually just No. 2 pencil and sharpie. The darkest parts are sharpie; the lighter ones are pencil. I drew the girl on a white background; and then drew her shadowy things. Then I just coloured everything in sharpie except for a spotlit area around her.
