Rockin' Tenyo!

I was inspired by this awesome picture http://images.inmagine.com/img/rubberba ... 160010.jpg. I drew it a lil' differently of course to meet my needs of my imaginary Tenyo because I don't imagine Tenyo to be Asian. I tried very hard to shade well and make him proportionate but I think I may be a tidbit off.

Dear Tenyo,
I can't believe I forgot your birthday! It depressed me to realise this after seeing a bunch of happy birthday posts on your wall. So I decided to give you a virtual guitar for your aging day like you gave me last year. ^_^ I hope your special day was unforgettable in everynway.

This is really awesome. I like all the texture and lines and your use of shading in certain spots.

The textures in the clothes are great. (There's actual folds in the clothes!) I love the T-shirt. x) Probably wouldn't change a thing. Any imperfections are what make drawings like this so cool. And don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Hey, it's so sweet of you to dedicate your art to another YWS user. This really reminds me of a picture i did a long time ago, when i was about 14 or 15. It was a a sketch of Frank Iero, from My Chemical Romance... anyway this is really a nice little picture.

Plus: It has character and although it is hard to see since i have to scroll to see the picture everything tends to be generally in the right shape. Everything is well balanced. In general the detail is good, the jeans are well done but it just needs more.

Minus: Everything is grey, maybe use a sharper pencil to add more detail or fiddle with the contrast on your computer.
