Kingdom Hearts

I was just wondering if anyone has played/is playing/wants to play Kingdom Hearts. Or who your favorite Kingdom Hearts character is.
The sequel is coming out on March 28. Anyone out there gonna get it?

My friend is a huge fan of Kingdom Hearts. I don't really like it though...

I haven't finished it yet, but I'm close. It's currently in the Garage with all my other games until I tidy my room. I found out there was a sequel during my boredem fueled game searches (Kingdomhearts 2! Grandia 3! .HACK\\ GU!!!) by the time it gets a europe release date I should have finished it.

Though I'm still trying to find a decantly priced copy of 'Chain of memories'. There's no whay I'm paying £30, that's like six months worth of Manga!

I am a HUGE fan of KH and I am really excited about the sequel. There are going to be some really cool worlds to go to this time such as Tron,Pirates of the Caribbean and Steamboat Willie(A retro Mickey mouse world.) The gummi ship sequences are improved too I hear that there will be boss battles this time.

I've seen a clip of a Gummi ship battle. It was so...awesome. You actually have to move around this time.

I own Kingdom Hearts II. Its pretty good. Compared to the origional, it improved in almost every way (especially the gummi ship stuff. This time its actually FUN to go from world to world). The big downfall is how linear they made the gameplay. I know, you'll all say that games like this are always linear, but like in the last game you could explore the places looking for hidden chests and different areas to explore, but in this one there has yet to be a part in the game which took me more than 10 seconds to know where to go next. Its still really cool though. The plot is interesting and while some of these disney subplots get old very quickly, they are done very well and there is at least four times as many cut scenes and talking parts than the previous one.

I agree with IceCreamMan. The Disney subplots are WAY BORING in the sequel. However, I did like the way that they did Pride Lands (The Lion King).
My little brother beat the game a while ago. I won't spoil anything for those of you that haven't beaten it yet (I hate spoilers) but I will say that I loved the main storyline involving the Organization.
My favorite character is Axel. Why? He's an enigma. Enigmas are fun.

Im going to ignore this post, because once I get talking about Kingdom Hearts/Final Fantasy...I cant shut up.
Though I agree, Riku is a great character. The new game looks promising.

Haha, I have to agree with Pingu...once I get going on this subject I probably won't be able to shut up. When it comes to Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy I morph into a crazy fangirl almost instantaneously.

I can't express how much I love the Kingdom Hearts story and the philosophy of the heart and soul and life and death and all that... It's such a tragic adventure. I loved Axel and Roxas! It's funny how a game that involves Donald Duck and Goofy can have such emotional themes and break you down to tears. Good storytelling, man.

Can someone enlighten me on the new game? release date? anything? My Xbox has been left unchallenged since I completed GTA4 and Oblivion.

I'm just playing KHII atm =] final battle coming up! I love Axel <3 he's the wallpaper on my laptop haha. My boyfriend can't stop laughing at most of the cheesy-crappy dialogue but I love all that stuff ^__^

I'm a huge Final Fantasy fangirl as well, so that helps a lot.
