Alright, so because of the recent event of my drawings from 2009 being grave-dug up in this forum, I thought I would post new pictures as a sign that the old ones should, frankly, return to the place they belong; in the archives.

So I thought it would be better to post my original five which is the characters who created the kind of 'groupage' in my first novel. Heres a link to the first couple chapters if you feel like a read :3;

Night in Love.

That being said, heres a couple character sketches I did today;

Spoiler

This is my first female protagonist, Athira. Theres a few things written about her if you can actually read it. If not, I'll probably write out the facts later.

This is my first male protagonist. His name is Faetred ;D

Spoiler

And this is another one of my characters. Her name is Emily.

Spoiler

This is Alphonse. I adore him :3

And this is Kirun. He's my elf xD.

Well, tell me what you think!

Hey Dream! I'm really glad I get to review some new stuff for you! I'll do this pic by pic. :D

#1- This one was probably my fav because of the character description. As for the art. Hm. The necklace seems 2D, or that it's being plastered to her neck. I'd add a tiny bit of detail, whether it's a small design or shading to make it less white.
The eyes are very pretty and I love the cute nose and upturned lip. It goes along with her stubborn nature, I think.
The shading on her clothes is awesome, and I ENVY how perfect her hands are (any tips on drawing hands????)
The hair seems to go too high from the top of her head.
#2- Love the dark shading and the different pose :) His expression looks a little frustrated, though you probably meant to have it look like that. Maybe a more flattering or stoic expression would look nicer.
Realistically, his head look a tiny bit too big in comparison to the rest of his body, and his waist, around the belt area, is too small.
Oh, and did you list 'emotionless' as a strength? It seems like it would be a weakness to me, but I guess it depends how you look at it.
#3- Her outfit looks a little too similar to #1. Personally, I don't like her face, the expression just looks sad and plain and there's nothing really 'beautiful' about it like the description said (btw, beautiful shouldn't really be a character trait). Her hair also looks too large, and lifts up a bit too much at the top of her head. Remember to pay attention to the gravity of hair. Besides that, shading and proportions are wonderful!
#4- I like the idea behind him; the face and hair seem really interesting, but it doesn't look finished. I'd add more detail and shading, even if he has pale hair and skin. Looking at the description, I'm really want to read more into his story. It seems like you gave his character a lot of thought. Anyways, he doesn't look quite muscular enough to be a strong archer. Also, his neck looks abnormally long; I think it has something to do with his collar.
#5- nice job with the feet! I'm amazed at how well you draw feet and hands. Anyways, the waist and legs look too skinny and his expression isn't too interesting. I'd imagine him wearing a smirk, but that's me. His expression does king of mimic the others, though. However, this is another nice character design; I love his hair and outfit.

Well, I hope some of this was useful! And when you start making some progress on this novel of yours let me know! These characters make me want to read it! :D
Have an awesome day,

Ah! =] these are really good. I only had problems with one of them, and the proportions were just a bit off. Other than that they're really good =] The shading is nice. If there was anything I were to change I'd change your handwriting, haha. I liked the last one the best and the style reminds me slightly of Tim Burton, lengthy characters with long limbs, small feet at times, square in the torso and shoulders. They're really good. Hope to see more =]

Jealous. Jealous. JEALOUS. The only thing I can draw are human-like figures. And you just mafe my pictures look terrible. Yes, you Re thaytgood. When you go binto specifics, you find maybe one or two mistakes. But when you look at these... man I love these. You really nailed this. Really.

The characters are amazing. Theres one thing that could be fixed, but you don't have to. For all except the first, their heads are a little bit too big for their bodies. Also, the bodies become smaller when going down. Overall, it's really good.

These are really great. I love your shading, and the clothes are really well-done. The hands are nice, too, and that's something that most artists struggle with.

The main thing with your drawings is that they get too skinny as the body goes down. The hips need to be wider - round on girls and a little more square with guys - and the legs need to go fairly straight down from the hips, not taper in. For guys, their chest can pretty much go almost straight down and be as wide as their hips. For girl, you want the hourglass shape, but the hips still need to line up with the chest. Just look at some other drawings, and you can see how the body is mostly straight, like there's a line down each side from the inside of the shoulder to the thigh and down to the foot.

I love the way you draw faces, though. They're really beautiful, and again, I love the shading. Your way of drawing hair is very appealing, too. Feet are great... the only critique that really jumps out at me when I look at it are the too-skinny waist and legs.

I hope I was even just a little bit helpful. You are so amazing at drawing.

Your shading is incredible! I love that you draw out your characters instead of just holding them in your head like so many do. If I could draw people instead of birds I'd probably do the same. I'm very impressed and jealous =)
