Hello everyone! Since I haven't posted anything from the past few weeks, here's some photos that I took. :)

This is a cherry blossom that I took a photo of in early April. I made this for sakuragirl1. :)

This is my week-old puppy. Just in case you get other ideas about this photo, she's sleeping under a tire. <.<

Please do give me a review that is either negative or positive to me, it will be very much appreciated. :)

Very beautiful tree and puppy! I love the focus on the puppy and the details of the cherry blossom tree. It will make a nice computer background if someone wanted to. I don't know how to critique this but they are beautiful pictures! Can't wait to see more spring/summer pictures! I wish it was nice and sunny out today.

Adorable! I loved the puppy and yeah I'm glad you mentioned he was sleeping under the tire. Just be careful when you backed out:)

The first one was also cool. Great use of color and I loved the angle you used. If there was one negative thing I could say about the puppy picture I would say it doesn't have as much color as the first one. But that could be because of the lighting. It just seems more washed out to me.

Once again, I love the cherry blossom photo. If I could suggest one thing it would be to go in with Photoshop and give parts of the branches a darker, silhouette look. The leaves are a little distracting with their presence but now I'm just being picky. You should frame this in a black wood frame. ^_^

The dog was a adorable but I agree with the above poster that it looks washed out. The tire also looks like it was digitally added and I don't think you intended this. I love the puppy's face though! :)

Lovely photos! I really like them! I always wanted to see cherry blossoms. When I look at the cherry blossom picture, it feels like the day you took these pictures were the day after it rained or something like that. (That sentence is probably confusing. I was getting confused typing that. Haha) Other than that, I love the cherry blossoms, really lovely.
The puppy one is so cute! And that tire does not look real. Sorry, but it doesn't. And I just want to know, is the puppy stretching or is that its sleeping posture? Either way, it's cute. I love the photos!

Ohh! Shiny work alert! By far, photography is where I feel most comfortable to review and your work just made me pump to review it!

Hey there! I'm Shauni; pleasure to "meet" you and review your work.

Ok, first image: Flowers are the most common thing photographed and therefore it can be a bit tricky to make a flower photo interesting and remarkable. Basically because it's highly explored and seen, so, making a great "flower-photo" is not as simple as we tend to think. Anyone can take a picture to a flower but very few can turn it to someone different and refreshing.

I must say that you didn't quite well get that. I love the colors, they are bold and vivid but the image it's so distracting. We have so much to observe: the leaves, the flowers, and the arquitecture of the branches that somehow it feels confusing.

But although it feels a bit messy, I like the fact that you almost made a frame out of flowers and left some green in the inside. I'd have explored that idea better; it'd have become an interesting idea - to leave the inside of the image green and contour it with the flowers. It'd have been hard to arrange that but you never know.

Second photo: I adore the concept! And I adore the puppy! You are a lucky fellow ( I have only a cat and I don't see a doggy in my future..) The only thing that didn't work quite well for me was the wheel! It's so big I find myself looking at it instead of the dog.
Even the color contrast didn't make it! I'd have slightly changed the angle to enhance the puppy. The colors are well chosen - two thumbs up!
I don't agree with some comments, I don't feel the wheel fake. Not at all. I think it's a great contrast of "worlds".

Fuwwww, what a gigantic review! Sorry about that! I had a blast writing it so I'm pumped up to check some other works of yours.
Final words and guidelines:

*we can always turn a simple concept or idea into something much more interesting that it's usually known for!

*when working with different angles and uncommon concepts , there is a thin line between our concept and how it is coming in the captured image that we need to constantly check.

Keep the good works coming!
Cheers

Shauni Queine

I didn't know there were cherry-blossoms in the Philippines... unless you went out of the country, that is.

But good photos anyway!

Hi,
Firstly, I must say that you have the most cutest puppy in the whole world!
Secondly, I love the contrast between the dark tire and the white puppy, it draws the audiences attention to the puppy very well. I love this photo so much! That puppy is so cute!

Oh good gracious. May I save these? Please? They would make such excellent backgrounds, and I won't claim them as my own (OF COURSE) or make any profit off of them. (Because that would just be rude.)

THEY ARE GORGEOUS.

I LOVE the cherry blossom shot. It's just... so.... purtiful. So many blossoms.

And I feel like I should say something about composition here, since that's what my friend does, but.... she has many years of experience with art under belt. I do not. So I'm just gonna say: Preettyyyy coollorrrs..... *is mesmerized*

No really though, I love the close-up of the branches, how you got the pink and white and green. Very nice. (say with rolled r)

An WOW, I LOVE the puppy. SO. MUCH. I CAN'T EVEN

*explodes into puddle of squee*

So cute! So tiny! So white! I also love the black against the white.

...this may have inspired a poem. *gears whirring*

And di you use... um... the black and white effect? *facepalm*

...cuz it looks great!

And I know I've been gushing, but really. These are awesome.
