Hey!

I just have to say this: Wow.
These are spectacular! What type of camera do you use? The composition, color, and lighting of the photos are very alluring.
Very cool.

By the way, could you possibly review my work? I'm new here.

Thanks and great job.
I'll have to look at more of your work!

Very beautiful, if you wouldn't mind sharing some techniques, I'd be delighted. I wish I had flowers in my yard right now. None of them have popped up yet. Also, if you could tell me how I can get pics up, I'd apprechiate it. It always says "Invalid" or something like that. Awesome pics. I'm gonna save some of them to my computer right now.

Hello there! This are great photos, let me briefly review each one of them:

1- This one's okay, I like the focus, but the hairy stem beside it seems to give it away. The lighting is nice! This is my least favorite of the photos but it still looks great.

2- I love this one! The subject really co-exists with the background in a nice way. The white background is really pointing out to the subject which is really vibrant. Great shot!

3- I love this one too! The focus and angle is perfect, the detail in the background is nice too but it doesn't really point out to the subject, it seems that it has a world of its own because it does look very concrete and flowers are not very related to that kind of backgrounds. Great shot too!

4- This is GREAT! I love how the nearest part of the flower seems really blurred, it gives it a sense of Depth Of Field. The focus and detail is EXCELLENT. Somehow, I've got the feeling that this seems to be my most favorite photo on your gallery at this time.

5- This looks very vibrant, the blur and bokeh in the background is well done, the angle is nice to! This really sets out a warm feeling in the photo. Nice job on this! :)

6 - This is well detailed! I like the dews on the surface of the rose, although I do find this really clique because I see lots of photos of roses.

7- This is GREAT! I love the dew, not many shots of leaves are great, but when I see this one, I changed my mind. This is really nice, this is my second most favorite photo of your gallery.

Overall: 5/5 Everything's nice! When I see a gallery of flowers, the first thing that would go inside my mind would be the word "Boring" and "Clique", but you really pulled this off in a VERY unique way! I hope I helped you. :)

Overall these are really good. The only big thing I saw was with the first photo. The hairy stem behind it really draws my attention. That may just be an ADD thing, but my attention is drawn to that because of how light and different it is. But everything else was really interesting and very very vibrant. They're overall very good. Maybe try different angles. Luck =]

Hey, Thanks everyone!
I never really tried photography before and it's been only a month or two with my camera but I'm glad you like these.I use a nikon coolpix L21 and I don't have any specific technique except for keeping it unique and simple.Every angle should be different and unusual.Every color should be vibrant and contrasting. That's it for flowers I guess.Other than that it depends on your own style, how you prefer to take the shots.I'm still learning but I'll love to help you out.Just send me a PM :)
Thanks again!

Hey there, July4Ruby! Wow, these are very good photographs! Personally, I love photography and am currently finishing a photography class. It's so fun to go out and take pictures of things, especially nature. ^.^ Anywhoo!

One thing you seem to have gotten down pretty well is having a Point of Focus or having a Subject. Having a subject is pretty much what it sounds like. A subject or specific creature/item in your picture being the main thing you are paying attention to, and making sure attention is drawn to it. Point of Focus is a specific area of your picture having emphasis or also drawing attention somehow.

1. Strawberry Flower This would have to be one of my favorites out of all of them. It's a very pretty picture and the flower itself is pretty, and having the sunlight specifically on the flower whereas the rest of it is mostly in the shade is very nice. The only thing I would suggest would be photoshopping one thing. You notice the large stem coming out behind the right side of the flower? The fuzzy, wet edges of that stem attract my attention so much, which takes the focal point away from the flower. I would suggest using a photo editor to maybe blur it slightly enough to lose as much attention.

2. Yellow Flower This picture is nice, but not my favorite. There is no specific emphasis or focus area, which makes me analyse and look around the entire of the picture, instead of just the flower or a certain part of the flower.

3. Purple Flower I love this one! It's a very pretty flower and I love the colors and the slight color contrast. It's very pretty, and you also have great emphasis going on the flower. ^.^ One of my favorites for sure.

4. Cluster of Whites This is a nice picture, and I like looking at it. My only suggestion is maybe try a few different angles with taking that picture/similar pictures.

5. Yellow Flower 2 This is nice, but the petal sticking out of the center right bothers me, haha. It's not too bad, just makes me have the urge to pluck it off. Nice picture though. ^^

6. Rose This is very, very pretty. Such a bright pink, too! Roses usually come across cliche in pictures, but this one looks good.

7. Rain Leaf I like this one very much! The rain on the leaf gives a pretty look, and I even like the browning edges of the leaf. It gives a really cool look. :)

Hope that helped in some way. Feel free to PM me with any questions you may have, or if you want clarification on anything I said. =] Keep it up, you're really good!
