I'm new

Hi everyone. Just thought i'd introduce myself here. My name is Emily and I'm 15. I've loved to write for as long as I can remember. The next year holds a lot of change when it comes to me as an author and my writing. I found this site, a place I can get real critique and improvement. In June, I'm going to a Young Writers Conference for two weeks. I'm anxious to build skills and friendships there! (Confession: One of the many reasons I'm excited to go is that I know there will actually be intelligent guys there, ones capable of holding a conversation unlike my peers. And yes, I'm hoping they'll be cute )
Then next year as a sophomore, I'll be on the newspaper staff and taking debate. I can't wait for the new kinds of writing.
Sometimes it doesn't seem like it, but there is more to me than writing. I am a triplet and my two sisters are the biggest blessing of my life. I love yoga, friends, bike rides and the outdoors. I hate math. Disabilities awareness is very close to my heart. I'm in marching band (I have a 16 inch bass drum). I love Disney movies, Jonas Brothers and the power of yoga. I'm currently wearing a duct tape bracelet a friend made me, and I'm taking French. That's all I can come up with now, but I hope you guys get to know me and check out my work!

thanks! I've been here about twelve hours and I feel very addicted and very much at home. As my username suggests, I enjoy novels and novellas. I also have several short stories. My poetry is only okay, but I have a few things.

Then you better post things real quick. Because, we people here are waiting to read and review new stuffs.

I actually already posted the first chapter of my latest novel and am trying to figure out how to post the second. Of course i'll check out yours. I love reading new stuff!

Read and commented on yours! Great start. Would you mind telling me how to add a new chapter? I can't seem to figure it out and it's going to drive me crazy until I do.

Welcome to Young writers Society or as we call it-YWS.
It's a pretty crazy site but you know, it's one of the best. If you need any help or you're slightly confused just pop a note on my profile, by clicking on my name, and I'll do my best to help you out! I was new here too not so long ago and sometimes it takes a while to get to know your way around here.
So some pointers that'll help you get started;
- Following peoplen is like adding them as your friends.
- When you make a review on stories or poetry or anything you earn points.
-Points is like money.
-You use points to post your on work, when you run out of points~You can't post anymore until you earn some more.
- You can post storeis,poetry,art,scripts,lyrics,articles,movie reviews and so much more here! Post anything you're good at-video's of you singing or anything really! YWS is a great site in that way.
- You can sedn private messages to people by pressing PM ME.
- Entering contests are a good way of getting to know people.

So that's the main stuff really.

Ooh, is that the same writer's conference that peanut19 is going to? It sounds like so much fun, and I'm glad you're going! You'll probably get a lot out of it. And probably hate to leave. XD

O: I'm in marching band! I don't play a drum... but I'm in marching band! Flute, actually. But I'm in marching band! And I'm also a huge fan of Disney movies. So, uh. We're going to be BFFs or something, okay? Don't tell peanut19 though. We don't want to make her jealous. Not too jealous anyway. ;D (And omg. duct tape bracelet?! Jababa! You can't steal Emily from me! And yes it's the same conference(: Emily, I hope you love it on here as much as I do. As you can see there are some pretty awesome people on here. If ulyou have any questions don't hesitate to ask and I'm always here if you need a review. As for marching band I have a ton of friends in band and used to play clarinet. I really want to learn how to play the piano but I don't know if that will ever happen.

Sarah and Jaba calm down. There's lots of writer love around here! And peanut, I already know I do. I recommended it to my friend Hayden. Oh and I'm getting ready to post the third chapter of Water Under the Bridge if you two wanna check it out
