I decided my first submission would be this lineart that I have been working on for a mini-portfolio. It isn't very clean and I'm not super happy with it. I have trouble inking in Photoshop because I have such an unsteady hand and I'm not used to my tablet yet. Anyway, tell me what you think of it, good and bad. I know the hair is a little screwy, I tried to make it as simple as possible so I can watercolor the whole thing later.

This is a scan from my sketch book just for fun:

Kinda smudgy and there is some text on the side, sorry once again that it isn't very clean. I do prefer traditional media. What do you think? Anything stand out to you?

Thanks, Lauren.

I just have to say- I love the sketches. The faces have a lot of personality, which makes them really interesting to look at. ^^ In contrast the lineart- while good, lacks...flair. She's well drawn and nice too look at, but she lacks the same life the sketches have.

^^
It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.
