We all know her.
That girl.
The one who hides her face,
even after you've seen her tears.
She smiles and jokes,
even though her make-up's smeared.
She tries her darndest,
to be her strongest.
After all, that's all she can be.
You know that girl?
Yeah, she's me.

Very compelling even if its short...but its not about the length is it? I can clearly see myself in this piece and fell in love with it...good descriptions and wording. Keep up the good work ^^ Good luck and Happy Writing!!!!!!!

Aw, I like this very much!

It's got a very nice rhythm to it, despite the shortness. I like the rhyming - it doesn't seemed forced at all, and it really makes the poem flow well.

Good work!
