Hawnestly, if you watch Rebecca Black sing Friday, you WILL want to laugh in her face. Her song sounds terrible and it will give you a reason to have a "most hated song list". You will also feel as though you and the people you have grown up with can do anything if you hear this chick sing Friday. You will remember her FOREVER even if you forget her name. Another reason you should watch Rebecca's song is because she was on the news. If she could have her song on the top ten list on itunes, you feel as though you can do anything, and live up to your dream. It inspires you to follow your dream because, if she could do it, You can beat her at it. I hope you watch Rebecca Black's song Friday.

Okay. I know you're a writer, you're good at writing fiction which is just glorified lies, and you're really only doing this because you want the prize I mentioned... but this is pretty touching. :') I don't think I've ever seen so much love in one post, even if it's all fake. :3

But the thing is, I already know enough about it to understand the rip-offs, just from hearing people reference it. It's like Twilight--I haven't read Twilight (and don't plan on it) but I'm pretty sure I could write a decent fan-fic of it anyway, (with sparkling vampires saving meek girls from getting run over, and Native American werewolves and all that jazz) just from hearing people talk about it so much. So I'm not really missing out on that.

Also the thing is, unless it's really really bad (so bad that it's amazingly good) it will be a disappointment for me to see it after all this hype.

On a scale of zero to ten, with zero being not watching it and ten being watching it, I'm at about 7.16 now.

But Zila dearest - disappointment is life. The fact of the matter is, nothing is as bad as the hype says. Even Twilight is readable, so long as you hold very little standards. It's the coming to the song expecting greatness that truly reveals how horrendous it is - if you expect it to be so bad as to make your ears bleed and your eyes tear up, then, well, you probably will be disappointed. Because while it is bad (horribly so) modern day expectations are ridiculous and partially unwarranted.

That said, can you really say it's not worth trying out? Do you stop eating pie because your memories of its gooey sweetness are more dazzling than the actual product? I hope the answer is no, otherwise you'll find yourself missing out on a lot of good (or in this case bad) pie.

Zila, I say this because I care - don't let fear of unmet expectations keep you from eating your pie and listening to your trash. Because sometimes, just good (or bad) is enough.

Of course that post wasn't fake, my totro loving friend. I may be a freak, a paranoid weirdo, British, seem emotionless and, okay, I used to be ginger, but one thing I don't do is lie. Oh, and for your information, I also write non-fiction. I just don't post it on YWS 'cause it's bad. So yeah. Take those muffins and eat them. The prize means nothing to me, Turtle Leg. The biggest prize you can give me is watching that video.

Oh, don't you worry about that. It's just as bad as we make it out to be. Worse even. The amount of emotions that overcome you while you watch the video is indescribable. Happiness, joy, fear (that's a strong one), uncontrollable humour-filled emotions, slight paranoia, extreme pleasure, extreme pain... e.t.c. The list is endless... And trust me. It's bad. Really bad. It's, quite frankly, horrendously spectacular. You will never understand the true meanings of any of the emotions above until you watch the video.

That's not actually her song. Someone's just edited her voice from Friday and changed the lyrics. If you listen, someone coughs, like, right in the middle of the video, which makes it pretty obvious. x3
