Azila must watch Rebecca Black's Friday

As some of you may have noticed, lately, I have been hassling Azila to watch Friday by Rebecca Black because she is refusing to watch or even listen to it. She's going on about how if I can come up with a decent argument with a reason for her to watch it, she'll do so. Because I'm lazy, I didn't want to do that, so I tried other techniques, but none of them worked. I did write up a brief summary of why she would watch it, but that didn't work either.

So here I am.

This is where you guys come in. Reply to this thread with as many reasons as you can possibly come up with to as of why Azila should watch Friday. The more we get, the better. From serious and logical reasons to ridiculous and humorous reasons, post them here.

As for you Azila, if you don't watch the video, I will fill your mouth with the carcasses of dwarfs. Literally:

I don't know, all I've heard is that the song is trash but Black's made money from it. I haven't actually watched it either. Wait actually, I've got a bad reason: you might be inspired to write something better. Tap into your secret songwriting abilities, y'know?

The only good reasons I can come up with is;

If you really don't know the days of the week by now and feel like learning, then Friday is the song for you.

If you feel like boosting your confidence and highering your self esteem then watch Friday it makes you feel like you've got talent, even if you can't sing.

Otherwise, save yourself and your ears/brain/eyes and don't watch it. Rebecca Black will haunt you with her,

Dear Azila,

This has been going on for a while now, and I think it's about time I really make an effort to convince you to watch the video. None of us want it to resort to Operation CPAD now, do we? You may respond to this with witty comebacks about how pointless this all is, but don't you worry, l know that deep down, you're loving this. Immensely. As for why you should watch the video, here it goes...

In this thread, sargsauce clearly is against you watching the video because he's said that it's a waste of time and what not. That's rather contradictory. He's watched the video. If someone who clearly despises the video has watched it (probably more than once), then that says a lot, in my opinion. How bad can it possibly be if someone who loathes the video has watched it a number of times? It's all a bit weird, in my opinion. So before you go ahead and go along with whatever sargsauce has said, just remember that he's watched the video, just like the rest of us.

Why else, you ask? That point above isn't going to convince me, you say. Yes, I know, Azila. Be patient. Let's take this to the core of this whole ordeal. Why did I even want you to watch it at first? I wanted to see your response. Why? Because you're funny, and I would absolutely adore the mounds of witty and highly amusing jokes you'd come up with every day about the song and the video. A.K.A. I admire you. Yes, that's right. I love to hear what you have to say, even if it is full of ramblings.

As your refusing went on, more reasons came to light. It's ended up becoming some life challenge for me. I kind of miss the time when it used to be merely because I wanted you to share your wittiness. Now it's a bundle of other things, and those things are only making me more determined for you to watch it. I know it's nice and comfy under that rock of yours, but this whole ordeal has made me want you to open your eyes to the modern world. I'm not saying you have to like the video, or that you have to start listening to Lady GaGa every night and start reading gossip magazines. I just want you to at least try to widen your... knowledge some more. Let me explain further.

Okay, so you're a genius. We all know that. What I mean is, I want you to widen your knowledge about what the world is now some more. I know you're not some hermit or anything, but to not have heard of Justin Bieber until a short while ago does say something about you, I will be honest. You see, that's the blind spot of your knowledge. Modern society. You may be a master writer, an incredible mathematician and a genius in general, but that means nothing when you are oblivious to the big wide world around you. Please don't take this the wrong my, my totoro loving friend. I'm not trying to offend you by saying that you have no idea what the world is like, not at all. I just want you to be willing to open yours more because right now, it doesn't feel that way.

Back to the video though. Seriously, Azila, it's fricking awesome. It's terrible, hysterical, foul, incredible, horrifically beautiful e.t.c. Yes, it's bad... That's the blooming point! I'm not sure if not watching this is some goal you've set yourself, or if you just don't want to 'give in to the pressure of modern day society'. Whatever the reason, chuck it out of the window. Seriously. Your pride won't be hurt. In fact, I'll loff you even more. One video, Azila. That's all it is. One. Video.

I don't want this to drag, so I'll try to avoid that. I'm begging you though, Azila. This is Skinsy talking now. Skinsy never begs. Ever. You should feel pretty special. Please, just watch it... I'll do absolutely anything you want. I mean, don't you want to have a good old laugh...? It ain't gonna kill you.

Just remember, if you watch this video, even a mere ten seconds of it, you'll make a little Welsh girl's day.

There is one very good reason to watch the video.

So you can understand all the inside jokes, and parodies, etc. that will show up over the years! Someday, it's going to be a part of our history. Something that we shall not EVER forget.

And do you want to be the one parent who doesn't have an answer when your kids ask you what 'Friday, by Rebecca Black' was?
