What are you reading at the moment?

Currently half way through Mercy by Jodi Picoult. Not as good as My Sister's Keeper, but still intriguing.

I just got this book called...Blade of Fire! I just read the first page and I'm already captivated . It's book two of the series Icemark Chronicles. The first one I believe, is called Cry of the Icemark. It's an adventure/action/fantasy/angst I guess. Still it's reeeeeeally good You should all read it!

Finally finished Son of a Witch - will be starting on Atonement tonight, and am really looking forward to it. I think I'm really getting my passion for reading back

The Doomsday Machine by Catherine Webb and I'll be starting Joy in the Morning by PG Wodehouse after that. *drools happily*

Right now, I'm having a blast with Being Elizabeth Bennet by Emma Campbell Webster. It's like a choose-your-own adventure book where you are Lizzy Bennet, the protagonist of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. You get to make choices throughout the book and they take you on various pathways ... and if you stray too far from the original P&P plot, you end up in the middle of another Austen story! It's pretty awesome and I could probably read it forever, with all the different choices I could make, but I have a "To Read" pile this high and should really get on with it.

I suspect that next up for me will be "The Poisonwood Bible" by Barbara Kingsolver, because I'm borrowing it from my grandma and I need to give it back soon...

I'm reading Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte. So far, so good.

"Robinson Crusoe" by Daniel Defoe, "City of Bones" by Cassandra Clare, and I finished "The Diary of a Young Girl" by Otto H. Frank.

Broken Sky by Chris Wooding.

The last time I read this was years and years ago.

My sister bought a copy so I've swiped it.

Drowning Ruth, by Christina Schwarz.

Not quite certain how I feel about it yet, but they keep naming all of these Wisconsin small towns and I know where they are. XD It's really sad.

I'm reading the latest book in the Alex Rider series 'Snake Head' by Anthony Horowitz. I just love his descriptions in these stories. Its one of the most addicting writing style I've ever read. I'd definitely recommend this series to anyone who likes adventure.

I'm currently reading Kit's Wilderness, by David Almond. (& I just finished rereading my other two books by him, Heaven Eyes and Skellig.)

City of Bones! I love that book. It so TOTALLY ROCKS. =P

Right now, I'm reading (well, re-reading) The last book in the universe and after I'm going to read Wrath of Grapes.

The cry of the Icemark! I love that book! The next one is called Blade of Fire? I should read it. =)

I'm reading the Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx and Frederich (spelling? gee, I don't know) Engels. It's a school book, one that we're required to read.

Ugh. Don't read it. I hate it. They take 48 pages to say the exact same thing: "Capitalism is broken! Workingmen, unite!" And I have to write a five-paragraph essay on it, which is even worse, since I totally don't get it. YAAAAARRRRRGHHHH!!!!!!!

Haha, the Communist Manifest would be interesting to read, I think.


Dracula by Bram Stoker as well as Make a Scene by Jordan E. Rosenfeld, although I'm putting more effort into Stoker.

ZOMG was it called Lost in Austen, too? Cause if so, I SO read that book! I had a blast with it, but since I knew the story of P&P so well it didn't really matter cause I pretty much knew what choices to make. Pure awesomeness! *high fives*

I'm reading Falls the Shadow by Sharon Kay Penman. It's the sequel to Here be Dragons and there's one more book after this in the trilogy. It's set in medieval Wales/England, and the books are SO good! Highly recommended.
