Really? Now I'm interested! My friend gave it to me for my birthday, but I haven't gotten around to reading it yet. I might have to now. :wink:

I just checked The Brothers Karamazov by Dostoyevsky (sp?) from the library. Should be fun. :)

Ahh! You must read it!

But make sure you have book two on hand when you finish book one. Otherwise you'll want to hunt down Francine Rivers and gut her like a fish for leaving you hanging like that. Or maybe something less violent. Whatever suits you. ;)

The Story of My Life by Helen Keller. I'm going to start it tonight, and I heard it was an amazing book. She was an amazing woman! Ya gotta admire someone who overcomes all that...she's definitely a shining example for everyone!

If anyone else has ever read it, what did they think of it?

I also just finished The Polish Officer which was quite better than I expected.

Crime and Punishment is, of course, a read and read again...and if one can get out of it again without hopeless mental scarring, there's always something new. ^_~

I finished "Complicity; How the North Promoted, Prolonged, and Profited from Slavery." It's by Anne Farrow, Joel Lang, and Jenifer Frank. The title is quite explanatory -- it's about how the North was complicit in its role with slavery. It's quite an interesting read and I suggest you take a look! :D

A brilliant book! I brought my own copy and I'll teasure it forever. The Polish Officer is fab, I'm reading the other Alan Furst books too.

We're performing King Lear at my school in January. It's so much fun, and it's a great play. I'm playing Gloucester, which is awesome. (I get my eyes ripped out on stage!)

And as for what I'm reading, right now I'm only reading Jazz, by Toni Morrison. It's an amazing novel.
