So I think it's time that I post something again. The last time I posted something, was for the poetry pairs contest, and well, I wanna loosen up a bit.

So here is my unfinished painting on GIMP (a random girl's face). Even before I could finish it, my laptop's mouse got broken, and I can't paint with an ordinary optical mouse. I'm dreaming of a graphic tablet, but that might really take a while 'cause it's so expensive. Man!... Anyway, I hope to get feedbacks. =)

Hey there! I'm not really an expert on art but I really really like this. The detail that you put in it is incredible and it is so lifelike. My favorite part was the eyes. I hope you get your computer fixed because I'd love to see this finished. :)

Hey Jash! I really like how this is turning out! I have never had much luck with digital art myself, but it's really cool. I like that you included all the steps so that we could see what you did. I don't really want to give much criticism until it is finished, though. I agree with geekchic, I hope you can get your mouse fixed, because I would love to see how this looks when it is completely done.

How cool! I'm not much good at using the art software on the computer. In fact that's an understatement my pictures look like a giant Grey scribble. These however are amazing! The hair is great and I love the blend and mix of colors and just how the picture is so realistic. You are a real artist!
Hello,
I doubt you will take the time to look at this signature, you are all busy people and I respect that, but if you do know this. Every bit of criticism on my writing has helped and every bit of advice you have given me has also helped. So thank you, for everything.

Hey Jash! This is really great! I've recently started working with GIMP, so it's nice to see how someone else uses it. I can tell this took a lot of time to get this far, and I really applaud you on your attention to detail!
I'm going to give you a few general comments, since obviously this isn't finished yet.
The main thing that popped out to me was the fact that her eyes were too blue, her lips too red, and her hair too yellow. From all the detail you put into her skin, I'm under the impression that you wanted this to be a fairly realistic drawing. But the colors you chose are a bit bright and out of this world x) If anything, it looks like she has heavy makeup and fake hair. Personally, I like the softer tones you used in your first images of her. They seemed a little more natural, and the lines of her neck look more elegant before you covered it up with darker shading.
I think you did a great job shaping her facial features, so props for that!
And one last comment- make sure that you draw her hair in strands. Right now, it looks very blob-like. But of course it's not finished yet x)
Thanks for sharing this pic! Well done :)
