Cello!

A cello may be played by any person on this Earth. They may play regularly in a class or attend lessons. They may have all the technical development in the world, or a great amount of talent. They may perform often for money in concerts or recitals. But they are not cellists. They simply play the cello- they are cello players. So then, what is a cellist? A cellist is someone who surrenders, even temporarily, his or her life to the cello. They dedicate themselves to the art of being a cellist, not just playing a cello. Unhealthy, you say? No. In fact, this instrument, powered by love and your supreme spiritual being, enriches one’s life and dreams, fulfills a certain void you never knew you had.

I am a cellist.

I know a girl who really loves music and loves playing her cello. She is extremely good at playing and is very serious about it too, so I know what you are meaning when you write this. However, it seems not enough. It's short- too short. There are a million things that could be said, and you did say a lot of it. But you have to elaborate and explain on what you have said. This seems, on the most part, like an introduction. I think you should expand on what you have said. This is an interesting topic and you should develop more of it!

I actually was writing this as a sort of mini-mini-essay. But I see now I really can't do it justice like that. And I do have a million things to say about the cello.

I think I'll write a real essay on the subject in the future, though I'm not sure when.

i like the instrument and the sound, its unique. it's a shame this among the harp are not popular like back in the day...

As it was said, this is short. I hope you expand it soon. It seems rather choppy in places, and you need more sentence variation. You started several sentences with "they." Just mix it up a bit, and give more body to this.

I know several cello players who aren't as enthusiastic and passionate about their instrument as you are. Perhaps you could write a comparison essay on different types of cellists. There are endless possibilities for expansion on this piece. You could write about how you started cello, the history of the cello, your cello instructor, other cellists, etc.

Overall, you have some good ideas that need to be developed.
