Curiosity killed the cat.
Satisfaction brought it back.
There is a reason these words have been said,
a reason you clicked here, infact.

I laugh because you fell for it.
I grin because it was easy.
A reaction of humans, a reflex
I fully expected to see.

Do not be angry, I mean no harm.
I have watched for 13 years,
Watched the ways of the world,
And I find that we twist up our fears.

Afraid we will miss out,
If we follow the rules.
Intead we seem childish
and we look like such fools.

Maybe I am just strange,
different to the extreme.
But I still see patterns in how you all act,
Outlandish and cruel they may seem.

Curiosity killed the cat,
satisfaction won't do any good.
Get over your stupid defiance.
Go do something you should.

I was out of touch!

I just knew too much."

Cute poem (: there's not much I can do but laugh. Because you told me too.

I feel like a dork for clicking on this and feeling evil and defiant, but really I was just average. o.O

And as I clicked it, I sounded much like Murdock off of the A-team screaming, "OHH I CLICKED IT! OOOHH! WHAT NOW!?" (:

hhaha. So this review basically has nothing to do with the topic, but it was a good poem. Congratulations, you wrote a poem that I had NO idea you could do!

Love,

The hardest mountain to climb will have the greatest view. Everything at a different angle: memories serve as double vision, a view from the valleys as well as the precipice. But everything that goes up must come down. The descent from the peak will be twice as graceful & three times as difficult

hello, Im Kitty.

Magnificent poem you got there.. . outstanding job writing, I love how the poem ends and the words rhymed perfectly as it's been written. got no negative comments about this one, its wonderful.
I dont really check for grammar as much as everyone else does, although I do check for misspelled words, but in your case, the words are spelled correctly. good job :)

*****I found this very clever. Good way to capture the reader's attention immediately. The whole piece was near perfection, except for a few grammatical errors. Nice work.

Initial impression is the poem dies with the title. It's trite, a second of insight. And otherwise that's it. There was no center of the tootsie pop to find because it fell apart on first contact. I'll leave a full review later.

I love this! The clicked it precisely because you said NOT to!!! You are so right. LOL! Cute poem, good job. It was creative and original, yet not 'weird' or 'hard to understand.'

Don't tell me what to do :(

Anyway, I've repressed the urge to click on this for a few days. Seeing as I'm... human... I sort of gave in to peer pressure.

The title of this piece was basically a Jedi mind trick. It was like on those Scantron sheets where there's a blank box and inside it says "Do Not Write Inside This Box". All I can think whenever I see those is like, "Why should I listen to some faceless being that can't even capitalize sentences properly? You're just asking for trouble, Scantron." Of course, that urge is easier to fight because, if I do write inside the box, I fail the test.

This was a really cute poem. It made me smile. :)

I don't know much about poetry, so I'm not going to go on for paragraphs about symbolism and syllabolic errors. A thumbs up from me to you is all I can offer.
We've stayed until the very end.
This is real for us.

Didn't see any grmmar or spelling mistakes, loved to topic and the poem. You're making my job as a reviewer hard, but that's good. Shows how talented you are as a writer.
