Some friends and I are writing a story and we all tried to come up with interesting, uncommon names. I want to know what your favorites are and if you have anything else to say. So, vote away! Please? I took one of the names off because it was loosing and I wanted to focus on the others. Sorry for the people who liked Nova!

It depends on the character's personality. Sunshine reminds me of a prissy, perfect, rich, always happy girl. For Rhode I think of a homeless-type, having a ruff life, tough, strong, raggity-tag, tom-boy. Ren...makes me think of a chicken XD (ya know, hen) lol. But seriously, I kinda like the name, it's good for an uncommon name for almost any personality. I think my fave is Nova, it has a good mixture of sweetness while also holding some independence and strongness (is that even a word? lol)

You aren't an official writer unless you're at least slightly mad.
All the character's are young. Sunshine's a sweet, innocent little 7 year old who can talk to animals, Rhode's an athletic pretty smart preteen, and Ren's a leaderlike, funny, almost fearless (except for spiders) 14 year old. Nova was a name I also wanted to give to Ren, but decided not to.
P.S. Ren sounds like Wren and I thought of that name because the character can fly.

If you're looking for original names, please don't use Sunshine or Nova. They're nice enough names, by themselves, but original? They've been used too many times when people are trying to be original to truly be original. Personally, I like Rhode, especially for originality. Ren is better in that department, but Rhode is pretty much unheard of without being too out there. In my opinions at least.

I voted for Ren. Of the three, it's unique but at least an actual name. Rhode looks nice, but it's not nice sounding. And Sunshine? I'm sorry, but are you kidding? Sunshine is not in any way unique, uncommon, interesting, exciting. It's just weird and it's not a name at all. Sunshine comes from the Sun, a ball of fire that is in the sky and keeps us warm. I don't mean to sound harsh, I just don't like it at all. Ren, on the other hand, is an awesome name for a strong, fearless girl. That is exactly the personality I think of when I hear that name.
