You evil little demon,
You blackness in my brain.
You are so very vile,
So hideous, yet vain.

Your teeth so sharp but craggly,
Find purchase in my head.
letting out the stinging venom,
So I can't go to bed.

I'de like to strangle you,
To kill you here and now.
But I can't even find you,
Let alone know just how.

Haha! I found your weakness.
Though you flourish when it's bright,
I see you cower, shook and scared,
When I turn off the light.

I close my blinds and quickly
Cover up my eyes.
I see you demon, run away,
As relief comes out in sighs.

Don't mess with me, you coward,
I will not play your game.
You may be vicous and you fight back,
But there's nothing I can't tame.

I just knew too much."

Hello there,

First of all let me say, I like this because it is different. Most poems are sad, lonley, full of anger, or all of those in one. (Including my own, trust me.) While this is, in a way, expressing some of the emotions present in the majority of poems, the subject itself is unique. The fact that you can write a poem as descriptive as this about a headache, shows that you have alot of creativity. Which, just by the way, is grand. Great job. :)

God Bless,
Amber

Hey, I really liked it. I found it flowed through well and seemed different. There's only one word i'm not familiar with - craggly - what does it mean? haha

That was very cute. Though I didn't know lack of lighting is a way to get rid of head aches. I'll make sure to remember that.

Hi Vee! I love this :) To describe something as mundane as a headache in so many words and with so much creativity is marvelous. (Yes, marvelous.) Good job! I didn't really have any nitpicks, I think it's perfect out it is.

And congrats on the featured work!
