This is an original character, but not for anything in particular. No, he doesn't have anything to do with the planets. The reference I used was holding a weapon, so I turned it into a scroll instead and he became a scholar x) Reviews would help, I'm using a new program and am not too comfortable with it yet :/

Compared to your other pictures, this one definately has a huge improvement on the hands and clothes. It seems also that you outlined the hair, which I think is very different from what you usually do. I can't say I like one style more than the other - they're just different and I think it's great that you're trying multiple techniques. Ugh, I'm sorry, I just always feel weird reviewing artwork. I feel like I'm not qualified. Should I stop? Heh... okay... -Suki
Oh, I wish I was punk-rocker with flowers in my hair.
Hi xXTheBlackSheepXx! First off, I just want to say that I think this piece is stunning. I love the colors that you used and I also love the way you did his hair. Especially keeping in mind that you did this on a program that you're not comfortable with yet, I'm shocked. I only have a few critiques on this though. If I had not read your comment above the picture, then I wouldn't have guessed that this was a dude. He looks quite feminine. If you meant to make him look this way then that's awesome, but even so I think whenever drawing a character to make the gender obvious. Other than that, I love this! Great job and keep 'em coming! :) -RayHutch
