Newbie

Just posting because I just joined! I may be a little older than most teenagers and users on here but I'm still a kid at heart. I'm a writer on the side. If I were to grade my own work as portfolios or something, I'd give myself Apprentice. I need to review basic grammar skills and also get comments for my work samples I will post. I love writing teenager novels and stories and who best to read my work than teenagers and let me know if it's interesting or not? Teenagers are best for me. I work in a high school so I'm also around teeangers 5 days a week.

A little about me: I am also fairly new to YWS. I like to write poems and I am currently working on a novel with my sister. We are twins and she is the one who told me to join. Anyways, I'm looking forward to seeing you around!

Hey there, Kathy! Welcome to YWS! It's a pleasure. Well, I would consider myself an Apprentice, too. But if we all keep practicing, even if it's a little each day, we improve quickly. What is your favorite genre to write? Do you prefer short stories or novels? Great, I AM a teenager, so I would love to read your story, if it's okay with you.

Oh my! I see that your avatar is Rinoa from Final Fantasy VIII! I love Final Fantasy and that one is my favorite. I mean, I liked VII, but Squall and Rinoa are so great together. Which is your favorite? I like IX, too, although I haven't finished it yet. I used to write FF fanfiction, before I realized I was horrible at it? Do you like fanfiction? Okay, okay, I'll stop geeking out now...I'm a gamer.
