If humans could have changed much, so come and check with me
Inside every human, in a place that can't be reached,
By ignorance, there's a force waiting to be unleashed
For every man, every woman, every child they all
Know in their hearts of hearts that somehow they must meet their goal.
But it must be said to those who wrongly read between the lines,
No one lives forever, only One can be called Devine.
You may say," I don't have to try, I'm not even wise!"
But the truth is there for those who seek it, those who open their eyes.
Beware; Be cautious; Be careful; Because this is just the beginning,
You might fall and loose it all if you were too sure of winning
Only those who can speak the Language of the World,
Will understand the meaning of what this treasure can hold.
Let humans' mind wander to what they think fits the best,
Money? Diamonds, wealth? Think of all that and leave the rest
But what matters the most is what they forget,
They choose what can be stolen by a person they've just met *
Oh, how typical of humans to believe that money can make them rise
I think I'll go to sleep now. By the way, I prefer being wise.
-----
You know, I wrote this poem a little while ago.
** The line that says " They choose what can be stolen by a person they've just met" is actually inspired by something that happened to me- also a little while ago.
Hope you enjoyed reading it, and I'd love to hear your opinion on it, because I realize that there are some flaws in it.
Thanks!
