Week 1

So I realize I've probably been spamming this art section lately with all my posts, so now I'm going to keep it simple with one post per week. At least, unless I think something deserves a special little thread on it's own...
Anyways, comments are always appreciated, of course. You guys always seem to point out things I could never catch on my own







This one I drew for my mom's 50th birthday ^_^

Found a moment to take it easy here in Houston, sitting here in the barn with the calf and her mama. So I figured I'd check the site, saw this, and decided to review it since I think it's awesome

#1. I didn't see much wrong with her. All I saw is that the shin of the leg facing away is kind of crooked when it should be straight. It kinda looks like she has a badly broken leg Other than that I think this one is very cute and I live how simple it is

#2. (< am I immature for laughing at that?) I really love her eyes and her expression extremely gorgeous. Only issue, I think her sleeves look poofy which isn't something I would've gone for. I think the little heart in her palm is adorable, I think it's like she's in love and saying here's my heart, but please don't break it. Very meaningful to me.

#3. ummmm... I like her hair, her eye, and the angle, but honestly everything else just looks really rough.

#4. happy birthday that's cute I like how happy she is (that being said i think a few lines put around her mouth would help to amplify that expression) and the detail in her hair. Her hands are a little awkward. But that's all I can see.

#5. this looks like an acid trip but in a good way, haha!! It's a very cool abstract looking piece, no critique on it from me

So yeah, I got to get back to my calf. It's been a pleasure

There are no critiques that I can really give on this; sorry about that. I just wanted to comment and say how much I love these! I think they're adorable and have such great detail! :) And don't worry about spamming the art section; I'm sure that everyone that enjoys your work thanks you for spamming it! :) Keep them coming!
