Yesterday, today, and tomorrow –
Words that mean so much,
But are noticed so little.

Representing the days gone by,
The seconds in the now,
And all of the future days to come.

All of these states of time are changing,
And always moving,
Never stopping to look back.

Today is yesterday’s tomorrow,
And today is tomorrow’s yesterday.
Tomorrow always becoming today,
And yesterday becoming last week.

This is why, after my watch ticks 86,400 more times, right now, here with you, becomes a memory of yesterday.
Love is like a butterfly, it settles upon you when you least expect it.

Hey there,
I am Upile. Time is a beautiful topic, I loved how you expressed it in this poem. Bravo!
My favourite lines are:
"Today is yesterday’s tomorrow,
And today is tomorrow’s yesterday.
Tomorrow always becoming today,
And yesterday becoming last week."
What a wonderful last stanza.Keep it up!!

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it.
Those four lines were the most difficult ones to write, but they are my favorite too!
