These are some little pictures that I did a while ago. I don't think they're really my best work, and I'm always trying to improve, but I just wanted to put them here and see what people thought. The guy and girl are two characters from a short story I'm writing, and the one with the wolf I think I did last year, so that one might not be so good. Please forgive me!

Image

This is one I've been working on lately, and I quite like it. I got some new high-quality pens, but I don't know how to use them, so I've been experimenting. I think I was a bit depressed when I drew this, and was trying to convince myself that it wouldn't last. Hence 'Temporary Sorrow'.

Image

This one was actually the inspiration for my short story. I think. Anyways, I think it's a nice little doodle. I'm not great at drawing guys, so I need lots of advice on that.

Image

I was trying to practice facial expressions and also how to draw the same people twice. They always end up looking different each time, so I've been attempting to fix that.

Image

This picture is very different from my normal style, and probably the girliest thing I've ever drawn, but I wanted to try different things. It was mostly done out of boredom, I think, so there may be too many annoying details.

Anyways, thank you very much for looking at these, I really appreciate your time. Please tell me if there is anything I can improve on, or if there is anything you like.

I like the one that says external on it, it is really pretty. Is the girl a fairy or something else. I try to understand art.

Hey there,

Sorry it's not an in-depth review but here it goes.

I really like the first one. I think this one and the fourth one are my favorites :D The tear streaming down the face is a nice touch and the emotion is the eye is great.
For the second one it looks good, and the smile is great.
Third, again like the eyes and the expression is okay
Fourth, i like this one for the simple fact that the bond between the human and the animals is really shown and it looks fantastic. The lyrics are also a nice touch.
The last one is good, i love the detail on the wings, the patterns look good.
Overall i really liked your pictures they were great and i hope to see more soon.

Hi!!
Holy smokes, girl. You are GOOD.
I'd argue that you really do know how to use your pens. One suggestion though- the dark black one you use for font and such you should be using on everything to make them stand out and make the gray pencil lines disappear. It will really help define your work.
I see that you like to draw short hair, so I encourage you to try and make some long, flowy locks next time. I think you've mastered the short hair :)
I really like your style of eyes; they aren't too big and cutesy, and they also aren't thin and slanty. You've found a happy medium, I think.
I love the guy and girl pics, they seem to have so much personality that I'd like to read the story ^_^ The boy is really cute!
I much rather like your wings on the first drawing than the wings on your last one. On the last, they seem very immobile and showy. I LOVE the details you put on the first.
Three more comments on the last pic 1)the circle blushes would look better as blush lines, I think. Where you just draw the shading strokes and don't bubble it in.2) is she supposed to have shoes, or are those just ribbons tied around her feet? It's strange. 3) erase the light swirly marks that are around the girl.
I personally love the one of the girl and the wolf. It reminds me of Princess Mononoke, the anime movie. I love EVERYTHING about this pic, except the quotes, which I think distract from the real beauty of this picture.

Sorry I skipped around so much while reviewing, I hope I was able to help somehow!
Have an awesome day,

Are you an owl city fan? Cause if you are then we have something in common. =) I like your drawing they are awesome. I really like Eternal Smile. I'm not the really girly type either but i do think the details made it all worth wild. =)

I Love It The "Strawberry Avalanche" Picture! Especially The Wolf :) Question Though, What Do The Lyrics Have To Do With The Lyrics? Or Are They Just There For Show?

Nice, I'm a bit lazy so i will make it quick. Forgive me if I'm a bit nit picky and my spelling is probably going to be terrible.
1. Good, I really like your font, its really cool. I will be very quick!
Plus: the transparency, gives it a touch of realism that i like. The branches in the background are also very cool as is the font. The detail on the clothing, just detail in general.
Minus: Proportion, does not look natural especially the feet, i suggest you give it a good look over, she what you could improve on next time. Gender, is it a girl? or is it a boy? i should be able to tell, unless you did this on purpose. The tear is to large, i don't like it.

Your other stuff, i must say is generally good. Nothing i can really say.

Good work!

Hiya there,

Firstly may I say that you are very good! I absolutely loved all of them but the one that stood out to me most was the last one. I really liked the antenna on the girl and it must have taken ages to get the cool light bulb effect that I noticed at the ends. The wings were also very decorative and pretty. I also thought the facial expression was stunning and very plausible indeed. The writing was also a nice touch. The others were also very incredible one thing I would recommend in future though is to put subtle lines in the clothing through shading to suggest movement or the position that a person is sitting or standing. Overall great work keep drawing.

Hello,
I doubt you will take the time to look at this signature, you are all busy people and I respect that, but if you do know this. Every bit of criticism on my writing has helped and every bit of advice you have given me has also helped. So thank you, for everything.

These are really good! A lot better than mine... :P
First: I like how detailed this is. The expression on the character's face is wonderful and I love how they appear to be floating. The little plants at the bottom also look amazing! (and time-consuming :P) I like the way you do your signature "Echo" in every one, it's a cool style! (if that makes sense :/) The shirt on the character is a really cool design, I like the way it's drawn. I also really enjoy the font for the title, with the little dashes in some of the letters ^_^
Second: This is really nice! I like your eye style (different for every artist, right? :)). The guy's hair looks perfect, how did you do that?? Guy hair is one of the hardest things, at least for me T.T Anyway... I really like the shirt styles you do, they're so creative! The girl's position also looks good, not awkward at all.
Third: The characters look the same as the last one! Congrats! Don't worry, I have that same problem... I love the guy's expression in this one, very indifferent.
Fourth: I love this! Very cute :3 I think this is my favorite of the four. The wing design is wonderful! The swirls on it add a nice touch, as well as the two layers. I like how you made her hair looked tilted, I always have trouble with that :/ The swirls in the background are cool :D The clouds look a little... too detailed. Maybe try less fluffs? I don't know, maybe it's just me... I like the placement of your signature in this one, very nice. The font on this is lovely! How do you do such perfect cursive???
Overall these are AH-mazing :) Keep it up, I want to see more of your work!!
