I drew started this a while ago. Took me *months* to finish. >_> @_@ And then another few weeks to get it to a scanner. ^^;; xD

So here it is. Dragon flying through a valley under a quarter-moon. Pretty self-explanatory. Comments appreciated. =3

Drawn in various #2 pencils (regular and mechanical) with variated blending stub/rolled tissue on the shading. xP

Edit: People have requested a larger size to critique. Here it is:

Nice, be good if it where bigger though makes it hard to critic. You have obviously put a lot of effort into this piece, more than i do for my art and i commemorate you one that. You seemed to have set the mood very well and the piece is quite well set out. The contrast of light and dark is quite good to. As it is quite small what i say might not be completely accurate but here i go anyway.

1. I suggest the use of line, stronger line instead of painstaking shading. It's only something I myself have begun to discover, it's a lot quicker and has more personality.

2. The dragon seems more to be hovering and looking at the moon than flying. To me the positioning doesn't really work to well are the legs in front of the wings? Also the wing bone thing is a little to dark and thick. But that really up to you to decide if its right or wrong.

I'm getting lazy so that's all I'll write. Anyway great work anyway!

Beautiful, though I would like to see a larger image of it.

You should try to bold your lines more, maybe add a bitof an outline, more distinct shading techniques, a little detail work on the distinguished features of your art.

Try to make the viewer's eye drawn to a specific portion of the drawing. Currently, the eye isn't really drawn anywhere specific. You can do this by subtly bolding parts of it and softening the edges of others. Watch your lines a bit too, try not to go too slow, make sure the lines are nice and straight. Drawing them quicker helps with this.

Now for the good stuff:

This is beautiful, very expressive and creative. I love to soft tones and the contrast though it should be a little more distinct. Very wonderful piece of artwork.

I hope to see more from you!

Keep drawing and progressing in your art. Never stop.

Keep up the awesome work!
I dream by day.
