Yes, I know I can't draw

Well Ignis, I must say, you are VERY impressive, especially the third scan (despite what you may think). At least, you're better than me at drawing. I'm no Picasso, but there are a few points I'd like to make on your work anyway.

Firstly, I'd like to comment of the proportion. In these drawings, I felt that things such as the neck and shoulders were too long or not broad enough. A good example of what I mean would be Argo. While I now know that he is 10, I do not think you got the proportions correct for a male character.

Secondly, I'd like to note the lack of various features in these. For instance, all of your character sketches seem to be missing ears and several seem 'underdeveloped' for their age. I'm not sure if that's what you intended, but it's just something I noticed (to be honest, I don't really draw ears either).

Thirdly, I had difficulty finding ways you manage to visually differentiate their ages. A boy of the age of four years looks to similar to that of 10 years in my opinion, as does a girl of nine years and a girl of four years.

Well, that's about all I have to say. PLEASE PM me the original pencil scans and remember: attempt your homework (okay, maybe not French anymore, but do not forget of its existence)!

Even though you think you can't draw, I'm still sitting here in jealousy. I think that it's so cool that you have the ability to draw the characters of your novel. If I could do that, it would make life so much easier and I'd actually remember what they looked like. My favorite is the expression in the first character's face, the eyebrows perfectly portray her feelings.

I found your boys were a little girly, but I really liked your girls.

Of course, this is just my personal opinion. You could ask some people for advice, here, such as Pink and Jenthura. They're quite good.

Checking out the drawing thread, check out the ones you like and ask how the artist went about it. Maybe that'll help. Either way, I think you're quite good, keep up the work!
