Although writing for several years, I am new to this forum and I have an idea I would like to put to all of you writers here.

Would you be interested in helping to write a novel? It's not hard, there's no fighting or outlines, and it's a great way to meet other writers.

It's called post-by-post roleplaying, and if you don't know what it is, that's totally fine! It's very easy to pick up and become addicted to. It involves writing a character, or a series of characters if you would like, from a third person perspective through a broad scenario and interacting with other characters. It helps promote creativity, community, and inspiration in any style of writing you do. It's also a ton of fun.

I won't be able to start this until April/May-ish, but I'm really curious if anyone here would be curious about getting involved?

Welcome to YWS!

xDD We basically have what your thinking of here:

forums.php?page=345

That's the storybook forum where people put up ideas for stories and interested YWSers put up profiles and they write the story in their characters POV. It's basically RPGing.

and we also have a collaboration sort of story-writing forum here:

forum191.html

You can still do something like an actual novel being written. I've tried it several times with different YWSers and it never worked out. If we can keep a steady idea then I'm in for that! :D
I am nothing
but a mouthful of 'sorry's, half-hearted
apologies that roll of my tongue, smoothquick, like 'r's
or maybe like pocket candy
that's just a bit too sweet.
