Hey everyone

I've just joined so I was advised to post something here just to say what I do. Basically I write stories set in the Middle Ages (hence the name). I'm working on one at the moment about the Crusades. I'm hoping to be able to reach a decent lenght with it.

So yeah, if you like Medieval style stories tell me please and i'll try and pick up the pace a bit with my own work as well as having a look at some of yours

I'm Blue Raspberry but you can call me Lili, which is also not my real name but no one else needs to know that, do they? I love historical fiction and I was obsessed with the Renaissance and Medieval times when I was little.

So, we like to have a balance here of reviews to posts, which is supposed to be a 2/1 ratio (when I say posts I mean pieces of writing that you submit to be reviewed). Remember, no one will review you if you only have, say, 3 reviews unless you're a new member. That's the only acceptable excuse.

By the way, what a day to join! It's review day and a good day to get some good reviews done. You are not allowed to post anything new of your own today, as all we're doing today is reviewing. You'll want to keep up a good supply of points, which you can get by reviewing, and today, they're worth even more!

I really enjoy Medieval stories. I don't write them myself (yet, there is always time to try something knew I suppose ), but I definitely look forward to reading your work. I myself write fantasy, and right now my obsession is angels -- the focus of my current project.

Welcome to YWS. I've been a member for about a month now, and the more you are involved in this great community, the more you love it. Everyone here is really nice and would not hesitate to give any sort of advice.
I myself, do not particularly enjoy historical fiction, except for maybe "The Source", by James Michener, but if you post anything on this site, send a PM my way or post on my wall.

That's awesome that you focus so clearly on that time period. I've always loved medieval stuff-- I'm not any good at writing about it though. Mostly because it's in prose.
