This is a picture I took on my visit to Santa Cruz recently. The boardwalk was amazing, the day was beautiful. I enjoyed the colors the sky changed as the day came to a close. This was my parting picture. :) I hope you all like it. I didn't have to do much myself for it to look beautiful. That was all mother nature. I simply pressed a button on my cellphone, and wha-laa. (yes, this is a cell phone picture.)

Beautiful. It's a bit low quality, but as you said, this was on a phone. The lighting is nice, I like the sun flare, and the shadowing works very well with the sunset view. This is a great picture, in my opinion. Hope you had fun on your trip! Keep writing, or snapping. :D

Hey Smylin!

SO, I get the cons of using a phone camera. It can, sometimes, take the life out of a photo.
That said, this is a pretty decent shot and while the setting and colours are good, there's too much going on and I don't have a specific focus.
The flare is good too, but there are so many other elements to the picture, that I don't focus on anything. I do love the slanted pole at the top.

Hello there. :)

I really like the picture, and I feel like you captured the light just right. When I looked at it, I almost have to squint because I think the sun's going in my eyes. ;) I have to say that I'm pretty impressed by this, since it's taken by a cell phone. Like Lava said, it's not the best to take pictures because it sometimes takes the effect of the picture away. You, though, seemed to have done a pretty good job. :)

Keep up the good work!

If I see an American in real life or a kiwi in a blockbuster, it feels surreal and weird, and like a funny trip.
