This took me nearly an hour, and i improvised most of the bottom bit because it wasn't in the actual picture. I'm quite pleased of the result, though i know it doesn't look much like misha. my drawings never look how they're supposed to be paha!

Very well doen! The eyes don't match up so well, but perfect symmetry is not born of human faces, anyways. Also, it may have been the tilt of the paper that did that.
It seems a bit too light. See your words? The picture should have been that dark. I know it's difficult with hard pencils (which is why you should use soft ones*) but you can also darken it with a photo-editing program.
Great job!

*Apologies if you did use an art pencil.

This is good! It could be done with a darker pencil, but part of that is probably just because it's photographed, I know that lightens it a lot sometimes. Other than that, I'd say just give it more texture (which will also make it darker). You really want next to no true white where your sketchi is, except in certain places where the light hits the skin and eyes directly. Also experiment a little with blending, if these are nice graphite sketch pencils - if they are, grab a little piece of clean cloth and smudge areas like the hair, just enough so that it looks a little more realistic. But as-is, this is a really nice drawing.

I'm a fiend for Supernatural, and I love Misha Collins as Castiel :) But I'm afraid this does not seem to look a thing like him. The textures aren't quite right to me. The facial mapping --wrong. :( This looks like a much skinnier man. Misha has a much fuller and sweet face. But this was a great attempt at him.

Keep practicing like this and you will only get better, I promise!.. I love to encourage other prospective artists. I'm a bit of a realist and a perfectionist myself, but I think you should really take a second look at Misha and really study his features. Find where the light falls on his face. Concentrate on the general shaping of his features and try mapping them out more precisely. Use a simple picture as a subject to follow.

You should try gridding. It can be helpful too. Although I don't use that as a tool for myself when it comes to drawing the human face. But I've been practicing for too long, hahah. Look up some drawing methods. They might help you too. But you know what they say, different strokes for different folks. :) You'll find your own drawing mojo.

Nice, in general a pretty good job. You have captured the expressions quite well.

1. First thing is proportion. In general it's alright but it's still something that everybody has to watch. The shoulders are also to narrow and the side of his face looks funny, you need to be more shuttle.

2. Sees a little flat, use different types of pencil, maybe a 2B and HB. Because every thing seems a little to light.

For the nose, you rely on line to much. Personally I use very little strong line and more shading and tone to get alright looking nose but that just me. Really depend on your drawing style.

In general great work! will be looking forward to more!

Hey :) I like the expression on the guys face, very well done! Have you ever used the 'grid method' or studied Kurt Jackson? Basically, you put a grid over the photo (if you're copying from a photo) or image and copy it square by square. It takes way longer but its worth it! I think more variation of tone could be used as well because it looks a little bit flat, darker pencils perhaps? But over all well done, it is a very good piece. :)

thanks, i did do a darker version and i have tried the grid method, but i didn't like the grid method. i like to do it differently and free-hand so... i know i could make it easier but :/
