Reviewing Sunday on February 27 (GMT)

This coming Sunday, February 27th, YWS will be hosting a Reviewing Sunday! Last month's Reviewing Sunday was a huge success for YWS with a whopping 692 reviews (in just 24 hours!), so because you all were fantastic that day, we won't make the goal 693. Not this month, that is. ;D We'll aim for... how about 350? 350 reviews on February 2011's Reviewing Sunday!

So what is a Reviewing Sunday? On the last Sunday of every month, YWS holds a reviewing day. This means:

• No new literary works can be submitted (you can wait 24 hours!)
• The Featured Works block on the front page is changed to a Last 5 Reviews block
• You can earn up to 100 points per review instead of the normal 50
• A check-in thread in the Lounge for letting everyone know how many reviews you've done

Now, because the Earth is round and it tends to spin, not everyone has Sunday at the same time. So we're going to go by Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) and declare 12:01 am GMT to 11:59 pm GMT as the YWS Reviewing Sunday. Some international times for that are below:

United Kingdom: 12:01 am (Sunday) to 11:59 pm (Sunday)

United States & Canada
Atlantic: 8:01 pm (Saturday) to 7:59 pm (Sunday)
Eastern: 7:01 pm (Saturday) to 6:59 pm (Sunday)
Central: 6:01 pm (Saturday) to 5:59 pm (Sunday)
Western: 5:01 pm (Saturday) to 4:59 pm (Sunday)
Pacific: 4:01 pm (Saturday) to 3:49 pm (Sunday)

New Zealand: 1:01 pm (Sunday) to 12:59 pm (Monday)

Australia
Eastern: 11:01 am (Sunday) to 10:59 am (Monday)
Central: 10:31 am (Sunday) to 10:29 am (Monday)
Western: 9:01 am (Sunday) to 8:59 am (Monday)

India: 5:31 (am) Sunday to 5:29 am (Monday)

Maybe I'll get my four waiting reviews read and done that day! That'll be my goal, at least.

I'll see what I can do tonight/tomorrow. Kinda busy at present.

I can easily put down 10 reviews in that time.

It's so the number of reviews each literary work receives goes up. The main point of these Review Days is to get the works:reviews ratio as high as we can make it. Allowing new works to be posted would probably cause it to go down.

Where was I the last Reviewing sunday? I hope I can attened. My weekends are so busy. I hope I get some reviews also, I just wish I could return the favor, I don't think I can come back at 5:01 like I'd like to.
