In a world of troubles and obscurity there once was a bashful cat and couragous mouse. They lived in a time that animals were free of human rules of speech and contrasts; they were able to be free and do what they wish without trouble. The two were the closest of friends. The spent many a time in the moonlight drinking and swapping stories of past lives as both had lived a millenia. They both got on really well together, being able to smile and dance and sing. However there was a problem. They both had a dark secret that neither wanted to admit. The both developed feelings for eachother but were to scared to say. For once the courageous mouse was troubled. Even though everything was great between them, the mouse was afraid as she wanted more.
She adored the bashful cat as more than a friend, alot more. Yet she wasn't sure how the cat felt as the cat was always to scared to share her own feelings. She wondered if the bashful cat liked the tiny mouse in same way. So she decided that she would stay quiet about it though it hurt her inside.
However as time passed the pain grew to great as she watched the cat slowly fall for a fearsome wolf who given a chance would tear her heart out. The couragous mouse really wanted to ask the bashful cat to be with her before she got with the wolf and so tried her best to ask. However, the couragous mouse felt tiny with the great task and wasn't brave anough to just come out and say it. So she decided to draw a picture of a heart saying it was for the cat. Though the cat didn't quite understand what the mouse mean't just smiled and licked her cheek. So the tiny mouse came up with a new idea. She would write a story and have the bashful cat read it. Hoping the cat would realise it was ment for her she sent it in a letter and watched while having tea the cat opening it. She heald her breath and she wished that the cat would then realise what the tiny mouse had ment all this time and they could be either together at last or just not ruin there friendship.
The cat opened and smile, her eyes darting over the page. She stared at the mouse in wonder and once more licked her cheek then took the tiny couragous paw into hers then blushed. The cat and the mouse stared at each other till the moon started shinning high. Then both starting singing and drinking and dancing till the world did die.
I also realise this is not my strongest piece of writing and the fact it is filled with spelling mistakes but it was soooo cute when she sent it me so I edited parts and decided to put it on here asap to show her how I feel
