This is what I did for about four hours that I could've spent actually rewriting this novel. XD

Image

That said, I've VERY pleased with how this turned out! ^^

It kind of follows the very, very basic plot, with major events. Half spider-girl Viss Arach makes an appearance of course (holding the book) as does Spider Silk's actual main character, David Archer (boy in the bottom half).

This is a story that I'm currently rewriting, and I'd really like to get published someday... I'll probably post a few chapters on here once I think they're ready for critiques. ^^

EDIT: And, oh yeah. I got the pictures from gettyimages...

Wow! I am simply loving this. The colors are perfect, the pictures are fantastic, and the typography is top notch. The thing I like the most is the blending and the way the pictures just fade into each other. It certainly does fit the overall theme of your novel, which I know will be a great book one day. Keep up the good work. I'd like to see more.

Lol, thanks guys. ^^ Nice to know you have so much confidence in me when I haven't even posted anything of this novel on here yet. XD

And yeah, I'm SO happy with the pictures I found. The two of my characters fit them so perfectly... *squeezes them* I just love 'em. >.<

Hey, Silk. Jash-ie here for a quick review.

Wow. Four hours seems a bit too much. But don't worry! I know how you feel! We artists have this impulse that we need these artworks for inspiration, right? Haha... Good job on this one. There's a balance to it. But I do have a couple of nitpicks: one, will be the font: It's too dark. It is readable, but the way it is not so noticeable in the middle - plus, it's also black - is just... well, let's say, that can be improved - a lot. The other thing I have to say, has something to do about the soldiers. They looked, duplicated! Aren't they? =)

But anyway, I love the proportions. The crack style is also amazing. I know how you feel to have a job well done. And this one is indeed one job well done! :D

Now that this is done:

GO WRITE!

Haha...

Oh boy... You know, posting this could actually be great motivation, because now people actually are looking forward to reading it. XD *vows to get a few chapters ready for public viewing*

@ Jash: Yeah, I wasn't sure about the font when I made it. XD I tried to remedy that by getting the little hints of red and white behind it, and I actually like how the white-hints turned out... Like spider silk, you know? XD But, it is probably something that could be changed.
And as for the soldiers... Yes. They are duplicated. Shamelessly so. XD I could only find one decent picture of a soldier on gettyimages, of one soldier... So, I decided that rather spend any more time on something that's basically just for me to get inspired by, duplication would be best. :)

Thanks again, guys. ^^

Hey, this is quite nice. It's a great backdrop for your story and creates intrigue. I hope theses picture's where yours because then their might be copyright issues. Anyway...

Overall it's a nice selection of pictures you have got. But i don't really like how they are put together. the pictures fail to segue together, especially those on the right side. Try using less pictures. Also the font, fails to capture the eye, the color isn't right and the background is to busy.

This review isn't as lengthy as my usual ones mainly because I know nothing about photography. If you have any drawings or painting feel free to drop me a line.

Hmm, that fire scene, is that an owl's wing in it? It just reminds me of one part in the Owl Guardians movie.
Other than that, great work! It looks kinda pieced together to me, like flat puzzle pieces stuck together. What you should have done was make each piece into a layer and put them on top of each other. You know what I mean? Just to give it depth.
