Buscador! (! obligatory) here. First off...welcome, obviously. You got it right in posting here, as this is a place for us to welcome you (like so.)

Heavily Simplified Layout of the Site:

To Read and Review a Literary Piece: hover over "Discover Works" and click "All Literary Forums." This will take you to a screen where you can read various forms of writing. I highly recommend you start here before moving forward at all.

Once you've done that...

Submitting a Literary Piece: Simply enough, click "Submit" in the upper header. This will take you to a screen where you can determine what genre your piece falls into, and you can follow the step by step process to finish your submission.
Blogs: To read them, click on "Blogs." To make your own, hover over Blogs and click "My Blog." Pretty straight forward stuff.

Helpful Links: Please go through each of these carefully, as they provide useful information about the site as a whole that is very, very handy.
About YWS: Who we are. What we do. Stuff like that.
Knowledge Base: the collective knowledge of the writers of this site. Handy if you have a question, too.
The Rules + FAQ: Always useful to know.

Hi, welcome to YWS XD *does confined finger dancing to welcome you* So, you're pretty confused right? Yeah, I was too, just pm me if you need to ask anything

okay so you see the two black bars across the top? they are pretty much all you need, on the top one, the first link is "My feed" this will show EVERYTHING you and all the people you are following ( to follow you click on the link that says "Follow this user" below their username/avatar). Next is your profile, the first tab is your wall, every much so like Facebook, it shows all the comments you and other people have posted there. Then there's your portfolio, this is a quick and easy way to get to all your work and organise those messy pieces. Another tab is literary comments, this shows all the comments other users have made on your works, and next to it is gifts, the tab that shows all the gifts other users have given you. the last tab is your friends, a list of all the people following you.

On the second bar you have blogs, this is where you can write and read blogs, then you have clubs, here you can join and create clubs about anything you like. Then you have your community, which is, pretty much just like a community
next is discover works, there you can read and review other works. then you have My YWS, this lets you alter your avatar, signature and much more and lastly is submit, where you can submit works.

Hey there! SporkPunk here. I go by a zillion different names, though, so feel free to nickname as ya like. (You're sweetpunk! We can be -punk buddies! :p)

Anyway, the other two seem to have gotten the basics down of helping you. Though you're probably wondering what Storybook RPGs are. (No, not Rocket-Propelled-Grenades. That would be disastrous.) They're role playing games, and you basically write a story with a group of people. It's a lot of fun!

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask someone. I'll help! You can ask the people with green names, and they'll shoot you straight. They're Junior Mods and Mods, so they know basically everything.
