Pain seeps to the surface,
Staining the disguise I wear.
Memories slip silently through the cracks,
Tears roll down my cheeks.

No one is here anymore,
They've all gone.
I pushed them all away,
I hurt everyone who meant no harm.

If only tears could wash away memories,
Wouldn't life be simple?
Come to me,
Help me forget.

Hand me a blank sheet of life
and we can start writing a new story.
Forget the wicked past
and look into the untold future

WOW very beautiful the way you shaped the words and sentences well done!
I love how I didn't rhyme. You can't do anything more creative than right a beautiful, flowing, and un-rhyming poem.
