Well it's not my whole life story that would be far too much energy for someone as lazy as me. My name is Gracie, short for Grace. I realised only after joining this site that not everyone names there username by their real name.

I'm 15, so I'm kind of stuck in the middle of this thing called adolescence. I have blue eyes and I used to have very long, neon red hair which i have recently cut very short and jet black. People see photos of my old hair and don’t recognise it's me, which I kind of like. I changed it at the beginning of this year, the reason being that this year, is sort of year zero for me. The last years of my life were pretty shit, and I did a lot of things I'm not proud of *. I didn’t write for a long, long time, because I thought I was simply too cool for that. I've since picked it up once again, and that is also the reason I'm on this site.

I live in Newtown, which is in inner city Sydney, Australia. My best friend is Roxy, best known often playing mother to me, and doing 5 handsprings in a row. I like 80's everything, especially john Hughes films, as well as Fiona Apple, Alice in Wonderland, Wizard of Oz, Rocky Horror Picture Show and other cult favourites. I am a people person so please feel free to talk or message me.

* I realise that some people may be interested in what those things are. Basically alcohol, drugs and hanging out in the wrong crowd. It is rather normal where I come from to be on a path to nothing. I’m glad I got out when I did.

I'm certainly hope you enjoy it here. You told more than I did when I first got here. I'm afraid I'm not much of a people person and need a little prodding. Here, we're kind of like a family if you let yourself, and I like to think we're all pretty accepting of people and their lifestyles, whether past or present.
Some of us would like to know what you write.
What genre?
Poetry, short stories, or novels? (I'm more of a novel person myself.)
... Ah... remember that thing about not being a people person. Well, it bleeds over into thinking of questions.

Thank you for the welcome megsug. Yes I am quite a confessional person; it's pretty hard to stop me talking when I get going.

I'm very varied in my writing. I have written two novels, but they are very rough and not at all edited. I also write a lot of short stories and a lot of songs, because I play guitar. I have recently been dabbling in more abstract poetry and script writing. I'm not very good at writing fantasy or science fiction, because it all sounds to clichéd in my hands.

P.S I read some of your story "I'm not crazy" it's very good and you certainly seem to know what you’re talking about.
