I made this in Photoshop a few weeks ago. Thought some people might enjoy it, so here you go!

Some things I would really like to know if you have the time:
Do you think it looks realistic? Well, apart from the fact that they have wings...
What do you think of my models'? Could they have done something different to make it look better?
What can I do to make it better, in any way shape or form?

Thanks to ~Brenda-Starr~ for her textures! http://www.flickr.com/photos/brenda-starr/

Ooh! This reminds me of Maximum Ride (great series, by the way) because of the title and the wings (duh).
I like this!
I like the ones in the middle a bunch, especially the dog :). The bottom one is okay, but maybe she could have been a bit more casual, if that's possible? In my opinion, the top one is way too exaggerated, while all the others looked relaxed. I like the browns in the wings, and the white ones look the most real to me. I like the gold wings too, as they match the season (my favorite).

Overall, very nice and unique!

Hello! I am here to help!(:

Okay, to start off with, I like the idea you have here. It's very original(:
Few things that bothered me were that the wings don't seem to match the characteristics you get from the model. For example, I think the model at the top should have darker wings since that's the vibe I get from her while the one on the bottom left should have the gold wings. The model on the bottom left reminds me of a leader, so she should have really powerful, bright wings that draw your attention to her. Also you can describe each personality with the wings. Maybe show the the "social system" by having like the leader have very large wings, while like an outcast has smaller wings. Personality could also show in this by having different shades of brown for each. Like if you want a certain model to have an "fiery" attitude, maybe have auburn colored wings. Settle tints like that could change the look of the model. Maybe the model in the white sweatshirt should have a lighter brown hue since she seems sweet and innocent.

The glow around them, I like. It makes it seem like they naturally are glowing, and it gives the impression that they are not human. I also think the dog is a cute addition.(:

Anyway, great job on the photoshop part of it. To me it looks almost like there was no editing involved. Keep up the good work!(:

I thought it was kind of cool. It did look a little realistic, but I thought the picture itself was kind of dark. I never would've thought to make something like that, but it turned out kind of cool. Did you take the picture of the people and add wings, or did you find the picture online? Otherwise, good job!

Excellent editing! I just have a few nitpicks.
The wings in the lower right have a thin line around them. I believe this is the 'glow' kr117 was referring to, but I think it's just the line left over after editing the wings in. The green-shirted dude(ette) also has this line around his(her) right wing.
They all seem to be the same wings, just copied and tinted differently. Not that this is bad, since they're different enough that only someone looking really closely could see the similarities (someone like me).
Finally, I think you have too much brown here. Feather colors vary greatly, so you have a wide selection. I would suggest black wings, but they would be too dark, especially since you have that 'frame' of darkness around them.
Also, I loved the dogs wings! Those were very creative.
Hope I helped,
Jenth

Oooh! I love this! It seems like it would be really fun to take a picture of your friends and then do something like this.

Hey! This was pretty cool, and like the other dude said, it reminded me of Maximum Ride.

Although the editing was good, it didn't look desperately realistic, though. The wings were too small. The kids are pretty big, and the wings are titchy. They don't look nearly powerful enough to lift them off the ground. They were all in the same pose as well; even though the models were in different positions, the wings were all the same, which made it look unrealistic. Like, some of the models were turned to the side, but the wings were straight on, you know? They didn't look like they were attached to the bodies because the bodies were going one way and the wings were going another. Does that make sense?

It is hard to put wings on things and make it look good and real (I speak from many disastrous GIMP attempts).

I think the style you did this in looks really cool. As far as realistic goes, The wings do look sort of as if they were cut and placed there. Maybe if you smudged the ends a little bit instead of having them look so sharp in contrast to the background. Photoshop is super fun to work with :) I bet you had a lot of fun creating this. It looks really good! Nice job.

Wowowow!! You are so awesome that I just cant handle it!!! Like I am really in total awesomeness overload mode rite now!! :D :D

I really dont even know what to say at all! I guess its a little weird that all the wings are flat to the camera if you know what I mean like none of them are at all on an angle or anything!! :D :D Haha I almost wrote on an angel!! I always get those words confused but that would have been a funny pun wouldn't it because there are wings and angels have wings lolol!!! :D

Anyway I really like this!!! I love the mood and I think its amazing that you put the wings on those people!! :D :D the vignette stuff is a little too much for me but hey I can deal with it! lolol!!! :D :D

You are so amazing girl!!! :D :D :D :D
