Epee's rather slow in general--keep your distance and out-wait sort of game.

I didn't know the Imp spoke of herself in the third person? ^_~

Your influence still hangs over me! One of these days, I will learn how to fence.

You know, I have a friend who is really into fencing. She once made go to a session, but it didn't really turn out to be my thing. It was so... tiring, lol.

Anyway, she trains three times a week for about two hours, and it was originally our P.E. teacher who made her come in the first place. Right now she's a fanatic, and talks on and on about it, and shows us the footing, etc. It's amazing, lol. Recently, her trainer showed her an original, 100 years old, I think, whatsis-spade (sorry, Klaudia, don't kill me).

Anyway, the moment she had big plans when it comes to fencing, and she's awesome at it! :) :) :) She's saving for her own blade, lol.

All that's left is to put on our masks

Would your prefer the left or the right? Or maybe mirror...

Foil is fine by the way, if you lack the strength to hold a sword. In all honesty I rather Kendo, fencing is just so... Restricting.

Regardless of which hand you use, fencing is awesome, and the Impster is even more awesome! 8)

Oh lordy.

The fencing season has begun once again for my team. Another year of futility...

But there is a glimmer of hope. The fantastic foilists, fresh off a season as the youngest most inexperienced weapon are now poised to lead the full team to glory. The sluggish epeéists and the mindless saberists will have no choice but to be in awe of the flurry of parries, repostes, disengages, coupés, flechés, flicks (actually; why use cheap flicks when a good old parry-reposte is so much more satifying?) and sheer dynamisism of the foilists! Huzzah!

Who needs kendo?

One couldn't define differences between the weapons and such better, though one might manage it rather more laconically. ^_~

And naturally, no one ought to need kendo with fencing...

The fencing began for me on Saturday. Our school hosted an invitational with 9 other schools besides ourselves attending. It was fun. I drew a terrible pool/fenced poorly, and drew the #4 seed. He beat me, but not before I broke his blade and stabbed him in the collarbone at high velocity. Fun stuff! :D

Apologies for the blur. Fencing is fast.

Oy, I suppose ill-luck happened to the Duel. -_-' I'm borrowing a computer to post at the moment, as my died...and I've exams this week. But following the anarchy of computer-less revising, university work and such, I'll be catching up things like the rather abandoned Duel...

Fencing is awesome! I used to take archery but I had long quit that

--sharp arrows + terrible hand-eye coordination = new hobby.

xDD Pity that lefties bother you...I can write with both --normally I'm left handed, but when I was little, my mom had /forced/ me to write with my right hand. Talk about old fashion. Well, just an interesting fact to bore you to death. I'm prone to those :D

Toodles! [note to self: /never/ say that again]
