I left the room to pick my nose
And the bug I found in the cavity
Said, "Better you should stick with prose,
And leave alone the poetry."

This is adorable and so cute. I'm glad to see something on YWS made with the pure, loveable intent of putting a smile on a face. Thanks!

Also, don't pick your nose. A kid in my class today was trying to be sneaky about it but...well, it's noticeable, even if you do step out of the room. Not that I'm saying you do...but I know what I saw. hehe.

Never forget who you are, for surely the world will not. Make it your strength. Then it can never be your weakness. Armor yourself in it, and it will never be used to hurt you.

I'm so glad it was enjoyed! My friends would freak if they read about nose bug critics.

Lily: Yes, it is indeed noticeable. I picked my nose when I was little, and now my nostrils are huge. :P Joking. But true...

Haha, this is pretty cool. It made me laugh, it's pleasingly short for my short attention span, and it makes a change from sad or serious poetry. I bet you could write some awesome children's poetry. The only complaint I have is that cavity doesn't really rhyme with poetry, and it would sound better if it did, but I don't know what else you'd say, so I don't think there's really a way of rectifying that!
Matt.

It rhymes a bit strangely, but made me smile :) Good work.

*Laughter* I loved this poem so much! I love funny poetry and this was hilarious! And it's fine that it's short! Not all poetry has to be long! You are a great poet and I bet you didn't know it. *More laughter* But seriously keep up the good work.

That'll be all, Tyler.

Haha :-). You pick your nose like all of us do!

Except you have the guts to tell the whole world about it.

That aside, the poem, though short, made me smile from ear to ear.
