Yelloww, new from England!

Hey everyone.
I'm MysteriousMagic, and I'm 13 & from England. I love to read and write and play on Pokémon, heh. I generally enjoy reading and writing fantasy, sci-fi or historical fiction stories; I'm not too fond of horror or Mills and Boon style stories. I also fail at using some characters, so yeahh... please correct me if you see something wrong. xD

Anyway, it's nice to be here. ;D

You're reading/writing interests are awesome! I love to write fantasy as well, and have yet to really try my hand at sci-fi but I'd like to. I've never written historical fiction (too much research for me xD) but I have a great admiration for people who do. I also think everyone has certain types of characters they write well, and characters they just don't write well at all, so don't worry. And it all comes with practice, too.

I hope you enjoy yourself here! If you'd like to meet and talk to all sorts of people quickly, you should check out the chat room (accessible from the main page of YWS). Everyone's really nice and a ton of fun. You should also try your hand at reviewing something someone else has posted, and post something of your own for other people to review! It's been the most helpful aspect of YWS for me, and for so many other members.

Some quick tips:

--Posting up work for review (please do post!) takes 100 points, which is the equivalent of 2 good-sized reviews. To find something to review, click on "Discover Works" and either go to the "Recent Additions" (that's what I do!) or to "Literary Forums" to find something to review.

--All the mods are in green (either dark or light green). They are incredibly helpful and wonderful people!

You've met a fellow fantasy/sci-fi lover here
That's awesome that you're from England! I've stopped over there a couple of times (restrained to London and the occasional glimpse of countryside), but I love it. Almost moved there.
I used to play Pokemon sooo much. When I was little, I'd get together with all the neighbor kids and have little duels and would occasionally try drawing new ones. I got to the point where I was making my own cards out of printer paper.

Anyways- glad to have you here with us! If you have any questions or anything, please don't hesitate to ask- I'd love to help!

@Coral: Wow, awesome name! I love London, even though I don't live anywhere near it. I've only been there four or five times, but the times I have been there have been awesome. xP And believe me, British countryside gets old veeeery quickly. xD And with the Pokémon, wow! I collect Pokemon cards, but I lost my DS game which equals sad times. Do you have cards? I love them. *nerds out*

I'm also with you on the 'English country getting old' thing. xD I mean, I adore walking and everything but sometimes I get so tired of it taking 20 minutes to get to Tescos.

Another thing I adore is Sci-Fi. So, yeah, basically you have awesome taste. Please stay on YWS.

I do agree with that! I live in the middle of nowhere, literally, and the only way you can get to a supermarket is if you drive for twenty minutes in any direction. xD
