Wow... that was great... depressing but great. The only thing I have to say about it is that you repeated a word:
The reaction was only two cars cars ahead and I heard the pained screams of the drivers and passengers as they were battered and crushed.
So yea, that was all the corrections I found. I loved it, it really was great. Write more.

Hello there :)
I have a few nit picks that I'd like to discuss.
The train hit the car that was stopped on the tracks with such an enormous amount of force that the car was crushed and pushed into the car behind it.
This sentence is very long and exhausted. I would suggest that you make shorter sentences out of it.
As I watched this chain reaction of crushing cars in the street before me, I looked down at my belly and, huge due to pregnancy, and rubbed it softly.
Slow down with the commas. I think you should rephrase it.
If I didn't leave to buy this apple, both of us would be safe at home and Jason would have had nothing to worry about.
I think it's a bit too early in the story to be showing the characters regrets and you seemed to have dwelled too much on that. I would suggest you hint a little bit and then expand more towards the end. Right now, the story needs to be told and I'm getting very little on that.

Though you explained that the character could not escape from the crash, it was not clear. I want get a clear picture of why she couldn't escape because it seems to me that she had enough time escape due to the time she had to think. This includes the fact that she could turn on the radio so as so block the screams of the people. You should clarify that a bit more. Also, she seems quite relaxed to me; a bit too relaxed. I would think that one, a pregnant woman more especially, would be panicking on the verge of possible death. So the emotion in that area is kind of unrealistic.
Overall, this was a very sad story. I found it creative and your writing had got a lot of potential. I really loved this idea even though it scared me a little bit. I hope I could be of help.

Keep writing and good luck!
The best is what you make it!

Goodbye Ricky, was my last thought before the entirety of the other car completely crushed mine.

I got confused, if I missed something, your were mentioned about Jason and Peter, but who is Ricky?
