Hello all! I'm NovemberNovelist, but if you want to you may call me November for short. I'm an internet message board addict, as well as an aspiring writer, so this website looks pretty good to me. :D
My username is derived from the ever popular NaNoWriMo, which is basically the only time I've ever been able to get a novel done. I'm hoping to change that... Anyways, I really want to become a good writer. This site looks like a good place to get some feedback, so hopefully I'll get around to posting a few things.
Some of my other interests are:
Animation- I'll confess I love cartoons. Western animation, anime, whatever. Maybe someday I'll be a writer for an awesome cartoon...
Music- I'm a band geek. My instrument is percussion. So I can play any instrument that can be hit and called music. xD
Reading- What writer doesn't love to read? My favorite books include: To Kill A Mockingbird, Unwind, The Skinjacker Trilogy, The Warriors Series, and many more. My favorite author at the moment is Neal Shusterman.

Well that's all I can think of for now. See you around!

Hi November!

I'm Rachael, but everyone calls me Rach. (And the frog... his name is Ribbit.)

Anyway, welcome to YWS! This is indeed a fabulous place for young writers to hang around, and an even better place to get feedback. What genres do you write? How long have you been at these written word shenanigans?

Please do get around to posting things! Without people like you posting... Let me just put it this way: without a constant influx of new work, some people here would perish from Reviewer's Withdrawal. I hear it's like scurvy, only worse.

Anyway, please ignore my current apparent tendency toward melodrama and... welcome welcome welcome!

Looks like you've already gone over your favorite books and authors. What about a favorite movie? Color?

Rach
I don't fangirl. I fandragon.

Ello Rach (and Ribbit!)
I write in a several different genres. All of my most notable stories have been realistic YA fiction, though I do like to write fantasy from time to time. I do want to try writing sci-fi sometime as well... I guess I've been writing fiction since I was about nine. So that makes about six years of writing sparodically. xD

Well, I don't want anyone to be afflicted by Reviewer's Withdrawal. I'll have to find some things to post (and maybe do a little editing. xD)

I don't watch a lot of movies, but I'm a sucker for Pixar stuff. I guess Finding Nemo is probably my favorite movie. My favorite color is probably pink, but I also really like blue.

Nice to meet you!

Hello NovemberNovelist(I just love your username),

I'm lilgreendots, but you can call me lil, green, or dots :D. Welcome to this site and I know you'll loe it here as much as I do. So do you plan on posting anything soon??? If you do I'm open to reviews. So do you find any interest in poetry. I used to want to write stories, but then I got into poetry and now I'm a poetry freak. And the great thing about is that it's easy to review. Well I could go on and on about poetry, but you'll get bored and we don't want that right :). So you like the color pink, I'll like that color too but my favorite color of all time is green. You'd probably guess because my user name is lilgreendots. Yup, so do you like toast, I really like toast! That's why my picture, is a picture of toast. I could probably go rambling on and on so I think I'm going to end it here. Once again welcome to the site and if you need anything feel free to pm me and my wall is open to you.

Ello lil! I do want to get around to posting something... I should probably do some editing first, though. xD Yeah, I like to write poetry, though I usually prefer prose. Poetry is pretty fun though. I've always wanted to write an epic or something like that. Green is a pretty nice color. It goes really well with pink. xD I do like toast, provided I can have some jam to go with it.
Thank you! :D

hi NovemberNovelist, I'm Psudiname, and it's very nice to meet you. I think you'll really enjoy the dynamic here, and I hope you have as much fun as I have. it really does feel like a community that you belong to after you know some people. there is a lot of exchanging favors, and engaging in fun little forums. for instance, the "will review for food" forum is an ad forum for people who are looking for things to review, so if you want a professional to check out your stuff you can go there. also, the "advanced critique" forum is fun too. that entails posting HUGE documents like full novels, but it gets deleted if you don't review someone elses every week. these are only a few of the fun forums here, and if you really are a message board addict, you'll love this place. anyway, if you ever need anything, just PM me, and I'll be sure to help you out anytime. hope you enjoy the site,
your friend,
---Psudiname
if anyone wants a review, post on my profile and I'll get to it in a couple days.

I'm Pointe and I'm just here to say: welcome to the awesomest site for young writers ever!
I joined only a while back, and boy was I uncomfortable. But you settle in VERY QUICKLY! its a very easy site to use and all users are helpful :)

If you have any questions: you can P.M. me or another member, but probably the best people to contact are the ones that have green user names, not black.

:),
hope you love our site and us,
Pointe

P.s. don't be scared if we are a little crazy. We aren't really.
