I don't know if most of you are going to remember me or not, but previously, I was AWritersFantasy on here. I registered in like...2006 or 2007 and was active until sometime in 2008. I sort of fell out of the loop, though, and I think part of that was because...well, I'm not quite as young as I was when I joined, and I know this place is intended for people who are a bit younger than me. However, there's a part of me that doubts (and hopes I'm right) you guys are going to go RAWR YOU HAVE TO LEAVE once I turn twenty-five in...however many days it is until Valentines Day, so I figured...why not? XD
Anyway. The reason I decided to register a new account is because I don't use the name AWritersFantasy any more- I used Jedi Knight Muse, which combines two of my favorite things: Star Wars, and writing.
As for who I am, I'm twenty-four, almost twenty-five (-insert joke about needing a cane or spectacles or something here-) and I'm a community college student. The short version is, math hates me, I hate math, and because of this it was ridiculously hard for me to pass a math class at the first school I went to. However, I was able to take an economics class this past semester that can be used as a substitute for math and I PASSED, which I'm 99% certain means I am DONE with my math requirement and I am finally one step closer to graduating. /ramble
Otherwise, I also work as a cashier at a grocery store called Stop and Shop, and I've been there for...three years. As far as writing goes, I love writing original fantasy. Usually it's high fantasy/sword and sorcery- it almost always involves some sort of magic. Since the last time I was active on here, I believe my writing has improved immensely, so hopefully I'll have something (probably an older piece but still fairly recent) to post for you guys to read.
I'm an avid role player as well and have been role playing online since 1999. Initially I started in Yahoo chat rooms where I role played Star Wars and eventually I started doing fantasy settings. Right now I haven't really been role playing much (mostly because my one-on-one partner went MIA on me in early November) but I'm slowly working on my own Star Wars message board role play, so hopefully that'll be ready soon. Otherwise, I also run a message board community for writers called Creative Muse Society (I also ran it a few years ago while I was active here, but it eventually died and it wasn't until this past May that I decided to reopen it).
I also participate in NaNoWriMo and have been doing so since 2006, but sadly haven't won yet (mostly due to real life getting in the way at some point during November). I'm determined to finally win, though. Maybe one of these days I'll have a job with a schedule that stays the same instead of changes each week and I'll be able to actually write more than a few chapters.
Other than that...hi! I hope to get to know everyone I haven't met yet and to "reunite" with some of the older members that I still remember and to actually be active again. On the off chance that you guys are going to go RAWR YOU MUST BE YOUNGER on me once I turn twenty-five, I guess this account can just...become inactive. XD
Edit: I just went to take a shower (partially in hopes of getting some inspiration for writing 'cause my brain is going all over the place, kinda) and remembered I didn't say what my actual name is!
When I first joined, I went by what was actually a fake name, which was Danielle, but you guys can call me Ally- my full name is Allison. ^_^
Although I have exactly one month and a day before I turn twenty-five, so I won't be too far behind you. XD
