Cheshire Cat

I'm guessing you did this on you're computer. I like the colors, very bold, but I don't like the close up. It makes my want to tilt my computer to see the rest.

It's very cute and anime, and as you can tell by my avatar, I like the idea however, when I think of the Cheshire cat I think of a cat with stripes, big eyes and a really big goofy smile. You have the eyes down (although, that's a trait of pretty much all anime), but you can't even see his mouth. If you watch Alice in Wonderland, (old or new version) you'll find that the Cheshire cat is almost always smiling.

The way I feel about this drawing, overall, is that it's an adorable cat, but nothing makes it the Cheshire cat... and let me just emphasize that I <3 the Cheshire cat.

Maybe you could take a close look at some photos of the Cheshire cat via Google images, and use the same concept, because I like it (although, you have to admit, a modern version of the Cheshire cat was found in the Alice in Wonderland movie that came out a few months ago... or was it last year? Meh, can't remember) still, you could do something completely different then that Cheshire cat... I dunno, I'm really more of a story writer then an artist
