So I wrote the samething in Welcome New Members topic, but I figured It would be more visible and friendlier if I wrote it on a new topic since I saw that was what everyone was doing
Here it goes...
My name is Alex and I'm from Puerto Rico; I'm a college student mayoring in Communications and it's my sophomore year. I love it, I love anything that has to do with writing and photography. One one word that would describe me, or that is what my friends say, is unconventional. I like everykind of music, especially oldies, 1920'-1950's, and classical. Love watching movies and watch Charlie Chaplin kind of films.Tv wise, well, since I began college, sadly I havent had the time to watch like I used to.

I hope to make new friends in this world that I love so much, share my hidden-from-the-world writings and read your works as well ;D

Oh, I love photography! I lost my camera and I'm looking for it, I'd hate to ask my Mum for a new one, but... yeah. Well, I'd love to see any pictures that you may or may not have!

What type of genre do you like to read/write? And, I have to ask this, but how is college? Is it hard? Overwhelming? Did I spell that correctly? Is that even the right word to use in that situation? I don't know. Haha! Well, I really do hope to see you around the site. If you have any questions, I'll be glad to answer them, or, if you don't trust my knowledge, you can ask the mods or junior mods. They're really easy to spot, their names are written in green.

To anwer your questions, I do have pictures of my own, not many cause most are from film and have been developed by me, and I haven't had the time to scan them. Sorry about your camera by the way.

I like to read/write fantasy, romance, action, I'm trying right now with detective novels. I read those genres to somewhat learn from them.

College is correct or univeristy. It sucks right now and it's stressful. Students are on strike and stuff. By the way, I support their fight, which we're fighting for freedom of speech and to keep the country's university public and a bunch of other injustices.

Photography is fun! I need to invest in a good camera to take photos. Mainly of my horses and of landscapes. What do you prefer photographing? Or do you tend to be all over?

Ah! You like the old stuff! That's awesome music. The stuff nowadays annoys me immensely. I also like the '60's. Actually that's all I've bee listening to of late. Who are some of your favourite singers? I actually enjoy Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin ^_^

I love Dean Martin, as a singer and an actor! And Frank Sinatra...Oh My God! You're right, music was better in those times. Singers would have so much passion and love for what they did that it could be sensed on their work; nowadays, artists just sing for money mostly.

I take pictures of everything; though, I mostly take pictures of plants and trees, don't know why it fascinates me. I also like taking portrait pictures; my little brother is photogenic haha.

He's an amazing actor! I just finished watching Rio Bravo with him and John Wayne. I love John Wayne xD And I positively loved Dean singing "My Rifle, My Pony and Me." And Sinatra has plenty of good songs. Along with Bing Crosby, although I only seem to listen to him during Christmas time o.O

But yes, music isn't as good as it once was. Country has too much pop mixed into it, rock isn't rock anymore and pop...well we'll just leave it at that.No one has nice voices and good music. My mom kindly pointed that out today while we were listening to the radio.

Plants are fun. I love taking photos of snow covered spruce trees >.<
