Now there is some implied nudity, but all body is covered so we are good! *thumbs up*
We will start with some chalk and charcoals:
I used to love chalk and charcoal when i was in highschool, and decided i would look up some models and poses and see if i could translate them.

Now for the sketches, these are the only ones I have pictures of so far...
I don't usually do fairies, but my aunt was living in Vernon and met this guy who was apparently starting some magazine, he then said he wanted her to paint a background (she does amazing backgrounds and castles. is an interior designer so go figure!) anyway, she, however, is not a fan of people.. so i got the job of sketching out fairies for this. I looked up a lot of models for the placement of arms and proportions and i am pretty happy with how they turned out!
This one is inspired by those Dove commercials, with all the women in their underwear! It was so helpful with the different body types. I quite obviously hate the last fairy- theres only so many times you can erase a face before it stops being a workable space. that is what happened.

This was originally from a picture of guys playing rugby, of all things! Guys are harder to draw. 1. becuase i am female, i know a female body well, and 2.its hard to make htem look sexy, masculine, and a certain age, without making them look anime-y.

Ah my killer fairey. This one is pretty similar to the picture i used for reference when drawing. I tried to change the hair and scowl, but it was just so correct it was hard to change something that was. This was practice anyway so it was never used. they wanted something up beat.. this is not upbeat. lol

I really like these two! their so cute! first ones out of the group i did... last scanned

Here is the end product for our project.

I did the sunset... which i was really really happy with. I don't have any pictures right now of when I finished that (the rest of the canvas was pure green. it stood out a lot!) but yeah.. the fairies werent the ones i scanned in, but ones I ended up doing on the spot. Also the picture is from a camera phone. not so great with the glare. but you can see my aunts awesome job with the trees and background.
